    Good News
    Stage 3 Motorsports
out of the Phoenix, Arizona area has agreed to sponsor a special group buy on the TeraFlex Falcon Sport Tow/Haul 2.25" leveling suspension kit for the Tundra - see it here:
    https://www.stage3motorsports.com/1...-falcon-sport-tow-haul-2.25-leveling-kit.html ;
or on the TeraFlex Falcon (manufacturer) site:
    https://teraflex.com/shop_items/200...sport-tow-haul-leveling-shock-absorber-system.
MSRP is $1500 (or a penny less for those upset with my rounding up)
Stage 3 is offering to members as a group buy of 6 or more Tundra TeraFlex Falcon Tow/Haul Leveling kits at 20% off list and free shipping (or 1-5 kits at 15% off, but on my preliminary polling we will have at least six unless scared off by the wait described below). That would be very close to $1200 per kit.
As a point of reference, we understand that the 2020 Black Friday deal at Stage 3 was 15% off this kit - or about $1275.
We will take names, emails and phone numbers from now until April 12th (could extend depending on demand) and then Stage 3 will contact you to complete the purchase.

    About Stage 3 Motorsports
https://www.stage3motorsports.com/About.html I will summarize to say Stage 3 was primarily a Ford parts supplier and has only branched out into Toyota in the last few years. Stage 3 sponsors group buys primarily on Ford forums but has never done one for Tundras. Stage 3 wants to get to know Tundra owners and is willing to have other group buys on other products in the future. Product selection is broad - see https://www.stage3motorsports.com/2014-2020-Toyota-Tundra-Accessories-Performance-Parts.html

    Bad News
The availability is limited due to supply shortages as experienced with every other shock manufacturer. We may have to wait 60-120 days after ordering.

    Manufacturer vs. Dealer
FYI - TeraFlex would NOT do a direct group buy because it protects its dealers and would not undercut them. One member was pleased in dealing with Stage 3 on its 2020 Black Friday deal in purchasing this kit and we reached out based on the experience of one member. The President of Stage 3 responded to my email inquiry about a group buy within three minutes of sending it.

    Research and Discussion
I note that this kit requires you to use your front coil springs and some members have expressed discomfort with the need to disassemble and reassemble the coilovers.
The Falcon System has been discussed in a number of threads:
    https://www.tundras.com/threads/falcon-shocks-are-coming.34355/#post-859562

This will be how this group buy goes down:
1 - Forum (that is me) collects names, emails and phone numbers for those committing to purchase - send me a direct or personal message to provide)
2 - Forum provides Stage 3 the list of those committed upon closing on April 12th.
3 - Stage 3 contacts each committed buyer by email / phone and obtains credit card information. BUYER WILL BE CHARGED AT THIS POINT INCLUDING SALES TAX PER STATE OF SHIPMENT RECEIPT. STAGE 3 will be billed and pay TeraFlex upon a firm commitment for this order.
4 - Stage 3 provides updates to us on status of anticipated shipment from TeraFlex.
5 - Stage 3 obtains confirmation from TeraFlex of shipment.
6 - Stage 3 notifies customers of shipment forthcoming.
7 - Falcons are shipped to customers.
8 - Happy Forum members celebrate receipt of Falcons, and provide Stage 3 with good press and additional business.

DISCLAIMERS - Needed because we live in a blame someone else, take no responsibility for your own actions world. I have organized this "group buy" solely as a benevolent gratuitous service to the Tundras.com forum and its members - and to get a good deal for folks including me - saving $300 each. If you understand the Borg, then I am one of six - much uglier than seven of nine. I am NOT receiving any compensation from anyone, especially not my spouse. I am not selling anything. I am passing along information, the correctness of which may be completely erroneous. The views, thoughts, and opinions expressed are solely mine (and are worth what you paid for them or less) and not those of Tundras.com, its members, Stage 3 Motorsports, or TeraFlex. I am not providing any advice of any kind, whether legal, mechanical, financial, or comical. Your use of this information is at your own risk and without any recourse to me. I am not responsible for any errors or omissions or for any results from your purchase as part of this group buy. I am not a guarantor of any product or warrantor of any information. I do not know TeraFlex and have never done business with it. The product purchased may be total crap and I take no responsibility for having afforded you the opportunity to join in this purchase. I do not know Stage 3 Motorsports and have never done business with Stage 3 and do not know whether or not Stage 3 will deliver product. I do not know if this product will fit your Tundra. I am not warranting that the system works. I am not a seller or warrantor of anything. No professional advice of any kind is being provided by me (or even any non-professional advice). Do your own research, consult your own mechanic, lawyer, accountant, financial advisor, and Gaddy dancer to see if this will run on your rails. If you read all of this then get a life.

As much as I want to be in, I don't think I can. I've been throwing my money around like a fool and I got to pay down some stuff before I go buying a suspension. Maybe in 3 months or so I would be in but right now I just can't. I definitely would like to see it succeed for everybody though.

As a Teraflex dealer I can say this is a pretty good deal! @French Avocado Good luck with the GB. Those who are jumping on them will be getting a pretty solid kit for these trucks.

It is a great forum with fabulous ideas to improve our trucks.

But it does cost more money! And may cause marital disputes!

Uh, dumb question, but, since this is group buy through a dealer wouldn't they be able to offer an option for new springs as well, say OME's at $200, since they are already sending a box of heavy stuff?

Or is there something special about the OEM springs which is required for the kit to work properly?

I suggest you contact TeraFlex and ask if other springs can be used. I am not an expert (or even a rank amateur). I assume that if they are the same length then they would work.

Having asked this of Falcon. They do not recommend using other springs besides the OEM ones. These shocks were created to maximize their benefits from those springs (length and spring weight being the key factors, I assume) and they said you would lose much of the benefit if you used different rated springs. I asked about a heavier spring in case you have aftermarket bumper, winch, and light bar. They said to use the top setting for heavy assecories.
    Hope that helps

Are these powder coated? If so, is a color match to the TRD sway bars?

Dog woke me up at this unholy hour to go poop.... scrolled the Falcon thread for those who said they'd be interested in a GB.

@TRDblvd you've popped up in here, but haven't committed, yet. Come on in, buddy. The water's fine.

@hooter you said you be in on a GB. :boink:
Understand, this is just a friendly inquiry and no pressure is implied or intended. Truthfully, this is an excuse to bump this thread for visibility as East coast members are getting going. :drevil:

    Awesome!

I'd love to see this group buy go big to reward Stage 3 for helping is out. Who knows, it might inspire them to join the forum as a vendor and hook us up with more goodies. :)

Either way that plays out, thank you @French Avocado for setting this up!
