I found a video I'd sent to mom, and then downloaded it.

Uploaded to youdouche, and here we are. Wish I'd labeled in the video which tire was what.

    https://youtu.be/7157T680aAw

Also found a video of my first scoot down the road after buttoning up the front end
    https://youtu.be/27DwZbjw5jI

This was before the alignment shop trip.

This is pretty much the method I use otherwise but with two people, one to shut the bleeder before the other person lets off the brakes. I see how he has the hose and bottle positioned for the air bubbles to escape though.

In my case, my hydraulic system was open or leaking at different points for a few days and gravity did its thing to allow air in. There was a lot of trial and error with my upgrades. The vacuum bleeder reduced the amount of time I would have spent bleeding the brakes and there was no worrying about a mess. IDK, it was very convenient and quick.

    Thanks @empty_lord

That's a LONG thread, but for those interested, this seems to be the best post I could find about this solution...mind you I didn't read ALL the posts...

Power Bleeders are nice. They are a 1/4 turn and Bleed Zerk. @FrenchToasty did you install yours yet? Or is it the threads messing up the Mojo?

I installed them already, and the threads are what is screwing with the mojo, the bleeder fits in the wheel cylinder very loosely, so when you crack it a 1/4 turn it’s so loose that fluid comes out from the threads instead of the zerk, I might try adding some tape or other sealant to the threads.

Beautiful country out your way. I'm only familiar with KY because my daughter went to UK and decided to live there after college. We're making our way thru the state and love most of what we see.

Speaking of brake bleeding... my truck sat in the garage for a couple of weeks with a brake line disconnected while I was doing axle and power steering work. I bled the brakes twice since then and still mushy, frustrating. Followed my Chilton instructions to a tee, got advice here, and watched vids. I've bled a lot of brakes in my lifetime and have always had good results. The only other vehicle I've been unsuccessful at bleeding was my '88 Toyota pickup. WTF Toyota?
I have a 2000 mile round-trip slated for March with this truck so I made the very rare decision to have a local shop bleed it for me today. It pains me to give-in and bring it to the shop but brakes are a critical thing.

@Glock 40 for whatever reason the brakes on these trucks are always hard to bleed. Every other car I have had it is a simple and quick process, but the Tundra seems very difficult to get good results from.

Make sure they know about the LSPV. When I took my truck to have them pressure bleed the system they were not aware of it until I mentioned it.

With age being a factor it’s not uncommon for the masters to go out because of this.

there’s also a bleeder on the LSPV that needs to be bled if it went dry

Master would suck but brakes were a-ok before I disconnected the line. I planned on mentioning the LSPV when dropping it off today, an odd Toyota feature. The LSPV bled fine when I did it. It was the front calipers that didn't seem to get the full flow going.

I spent the last few days with my front end ripped apart. I ordered some Siberian polyurethane bushings and some new upper ball joints for the old lady.

Words cannot express how uncool it was to get the bushings out without a press. I ended up using a torch and an air chisel to made things reasonable.

The biggest problem I ran into was the rear cam adjuster on the passenger side. It was seized while the others came out smoov. I had to invest in a reciprocating saw specifically for that cam sleeve thing.

I also replaced my upper ball joints and welded in total chaos spindle gussets.

I was in a rush to get the truck out of the shop by last night, so I forgot to take more pics on the install.

Here is one of the LCAs with the new bushings.

I'm also going to have to pull apart the front again soon. The boots on my LBJs came apart and let sand and junk in. I cleaned and regreased them, but I don't want to push my luck. I will also need to get a couple of these new hub seals ordered. This one's cooked for sure. Are there any non OEM alternatives for this particular seal? I really don't want to spend $50+ per seal.

I'm thinking about doing a side molding delete on my Tundra after the engine rebuild situation is complete. I know I'd have to fill in the holes and that's fine because I'm planning on painting the truck soon too. Has anyone done this?
@empty_lord I couldn't find your build page, looks like you don't have them though.
•Would using auto body repair tape be easier than the exclusively Bondo route?
•What do you guys think of the look? I'm going for a very basic white work truck aesthetic, I already have zero badges and love how clean that looks. I would keep fender flares, though.

This is the only photo I could find (not mine):

My driver side door hand them, they were filled with sheet metal welded to the door. Then ground flat and thin layer of filler to make it seem less
