    I feel your pain.
Just run a lead from the battery to the cab. You can wire in a new plug specifically for your fridge, that way you don't need to worry abut the dash cam.

I appreciate the suggestion but I don't see how this helps me? I still need to convert the outlet to constantly be hot. The fridge cord is plenty long to reach. I don't need an extension. None of the three 12v sources supply power with the truck off.

You need more width on those high beams, like a light bar with a flood pattern wired to your high beams would help with seeing what’s lurking in the stix

Camera doesn't do it justice. I'll agree its more "spot light" than what was advertised, but I like it. I think if I had my fogs on at all times instead of just the low beams it would be a GREAT improvement.

I have a few hot plugs, 15a for the fridge. You’re planning for a plug in the bed or cab?

I'd like to make one of the cab plugs work. The fridge fits real nicely in the back seat area. I just need to build a little platform for the slide.

No sir. I thought one of the 3 outlets would have power with the key out but none did.

Doesn't solve his issue of running the fridge without running the engine?

I’ll have to go out and see if my cig lighter works with ignition off. Pretty sure it does, but I’ve been saving it for the Smithsonian Museum when she gets retired.

I replaced the existing cig plug in the rear of the center console with a 15a from Amazon. It fits snug and looks factory. Have it wired through my fuse block to the battery for constant power. I can snap some pics if that helps.

Yes please. I may try to covert the cig lighter on mine as it's least likely to get used for it's original purpose.

I’ll go snap some but make sure the plug is rated for the fridge. The 15a gives me some peace of mind over the factory plug. But @bmf4069 will have better knowledge.

I’ll have to interrupt my coffee time and go check my cig lighter. My assumption is, with ignition off, the cig lighter still works when pushed in. Thus, buy a car power inverter and plug it in and the power is hot constantly even with ignition off? Plug the refer into the inverter and your refer is running constantly with ignition off?

Long cable is good if you want to remove refer to have it near the tent or power up devices inside tent.

@FirstGenVol Just a simple plug that fits in the factory spot and I ran the wires down the center console and through the firewall. In line fuse and you’re all set! $20 tops, if you already have wire. No need to waste money on an inverter or extension cord that won’t help you.

There’s a slot in the factory fuse block under the dash.

    https://www.amazon.com/JABINCO-Circ...ild=1&keywords=fuse+tap&qid=1595774358&sr=8-7

but one of these guys, and run a power lead to one of your cigarette lighters. Should be good to go.

you may need to double check that the fuse block gets full time power. I can’t remember if it does or not.

I just checked the cig lighter. It doesn't work with the truck off.

Accessory is a 15A. I'm assuming this covers the cigarette lighter and the 2 separate 12V?

Yes, that’s why I ran the new plug independently with thicker wire and it’s own fuse.
