    Do any of you 1st gen tundrites have advice on where to find map - dome light replacement switches for my 04 sr5 dc v8? Im doing interior light led upgrades and now have 3 of 4 limp switches that will not work.

    pretty sure the switches are wasted. after pulling the plastic covers off, the switch nipple is stuck inside and will not toggle.I guess that 16 years is past its life expectancy. thanks for your advice.

    Hand Protectors
    Try a junk yard for the entire assy or you can buy a brand new one from online Toyota. Easier and better to just replace the entire unit versus just the switches. Plug and play!

    Not sure if the 04 has the metal lens covers like the 02, but they can be removed for added light while you are in there. You can see what I’m saying on my build page.

    I'm having the same issue on 2005 TRD. Now have 3 'toggle' switches that have given up the ghost. Been looking for replacement switches...see some (Doorman) that look visually similar but none specifically for this truck. Any luck other than buying the entire overhead console and dome light?
