Jimbo Slice was a name coworkers gave me because of my build and grappling background. Slice became my name for years, before that it was Rooster. I don't think that was a very endearing name though:rofl:. 413 is the local I worked out of (Santa Barbara County) before I moved

I've driven for UPS since 1986.
In 1994 I went into to Feeders (driving semis).
A lot of us still talked on the CB radio back then, my handle was Lowlife.
Actually took the name from a New Order album I listened to in the mid 80s.

The pic, we were celebrating a friends wedding. It was kind of a Hawaiian theme so that's the explanation for the umbrella.

Moon Puppy was as drinking game that was invented (don't ask the rules, if you have to ask you have to drink) back when I was hanging out at college in the 80s. I didn't actually go to college but hung out with so many they thought I did.
The guy who invented it was one of these guys who was best friend to everyone he met, his name was Feaster. He filled the room literally and figuratively. I was riding up at Clemson one day and saw him and his crew leaving a bar and I hung out the window to holler at him. Instead of "Feaster" I hollered "Moon Puppy" (yeah I was drunk..or something).
A couple of weeks later I saw him out and he told me that "Moon Puppy" is famous, that it's made it all the way up to Clemson. I didn't have the heart to tell him it was me because he was thrilled his fame now had no boundaries.
Several years later the internet is getting fired up, I had to come up with a user name, at the same time Feaster's diabetes was catching up with him. The last time I saw him both legs were removed and he was blind in one eye yet he had a very hot blond pushing his wheel chair. Not long after he lost his battle. So I decided on Moon Puppy as a tribute to my friend Roger Feaster, :drunk:

Zombie was the name I gave to my first Tundra because I basically brought back from the dead. At $1,500 9 years ago It had a new frame, but every panel was destroyed. When I bought it I had to bring 1 ignition coil and a serp belt just to get it home. I did all the basic maintenance and had one kick ass work truck. I was driving a lexus and multiple Z cars as usual at that time, so it was strictly for work. Then one day I found a 2001 in the junkyard in better shape then mine..............and $540 later I had a Blue truck. Then it became my daily driver. Now that it is going back to the grave and have a new 07 now, I guess I'll keep the name in memory of the truck that had me fall in love with the Tundra. I like all the generations, and even if there is a flaw here and there, I wouldn't buy any other Truck.

My nickname as a kid was Jester for some reason. I guess it’s because I was always a cut up. Went into the military and they oddly tagged me with Jester too. Started road racing with WERA and CCS and went with Court Jester Racing.
So Court Jester has just been my thing.

I watched a TV documentary of Jeff Beck, one of the three noted guitarists to have played with the Yardbirds. It was a fascinating story and I was most impressed with Jeff.
In the olden days I worked at the shipyard doing repair on Navy vessels. The Squids dubbed us Yardbirds ~ a derogatory term for the civilians helping them.

Kung - long time ago I couldn't think of a good username on a forum, so I tried one of those username anonymizers. First one it came up with was "Muffinstuffer."

I thought it was hilarious, and used it - until the board I was on at the time (Christian bulletin board) got butthurt because of one of the alternative meanings of 'muffin.'

Next one was "Kung Pao Smurf." I used that for the longest time, and eventually just shortened it to Kung.

I know a latiolais around here in south louisiana. Not a common name, so it popped out when I saw you mention it.
I got "Fotnot" because my last name is Fontenot (pronounced Font-no). When I was in jr high and high school, most telemarketers or out of towners would call and ask for MR./MRS. FON-TEE-NOT or FON-TUH-NOT(usually our dead giveaway that it was a telemarketer lol). It took off early in school for me(and my 4 siblings) and was kind of a joke. Then it stuck with me for years where practically NO ONE called me by my name at all, but by Fotnot. Ended up putting it on my letterman jacket when I got it too. So the name has been with me since I was about 12 and I'm 34 now lol.

Grumpy Uncle was given to me by my brothers daughter. We are not brothers by blood, we kind of adopted each other. He was my bother, mentor, friend. He and his wife, my Sis are the godparents to my boys.
When he was being treated down at Ft Sam, whenever people would come into his hospital room she would introduce me as her Grumpy Uncle. Or she would tell folks that my mustache was too heavy to smile. She still calls me GU.

For lack of a better idea, I just stuck with my online gaming tag when I joined. It admittedly makes more sense in Call of Duty or even TF2 or L4D2 than here but so be it.
