Hi all, I'd appreciate any suggestions you may have on upgrades/maintenance I should consider while changing my valve gaskets. So far I'm planning on getting the 12 hole fuel injectors from Dirtydeeds and think I want to upgrade/replace the ignition coils but don't really know which brand/grade to get. Any suggestions on this? I've seen them from about $100 - $1,000. I don't want to go cheap but $1k is out of the question.

Thinking maybe replacing more of the electrical lines, maybe the Distributer cap/rotor as well. Just so I have peace of mind going out into the unknown.

All input is greatly appreciated! Thanks

For the coils I would just get the OEM Denso equivalent. They cost around $55 each.

Denso coils. New wires (sumitomo oem or ngk) if 3.4l v6.

Neither the v6 or v8 have a distributor cap.

The Denso 1303 is the Coil I bought for $54 each on the Big Guurrll. Not sure what they cost now. I know Stealers wanted $170 each for the same Denso. Fuggetaboouit!

Just checked and they are now $52. Buy some new spark plugs and do them.

Hitachi makes our MAF Sensor ($55). Its Toyota Brand and they scratch off the stamp.

You’ll need the Toy FIPG 103 Gasket Maker and 18 new Valve Cover bolts with the rubber washers. A new PCV Valve and grommet, as well.

Can you point me in the right direction of where the Hitachi MAF is $55 bud? Cheapest I found was $117.

Ordered the ignition coils. $49 on Carid. Checked mine and they were Denso as well but look pretty old and if I'm not mistaken, a cheaper version as they were $118 for the entire set of 8 online.
