Yeah I tried to keep mine perfect. Found a door ding a couple of months ago and did my best to pull it out and fill the chip with touch up paint. You can barely see it but I know it's there. Then I scratched the crap out of my rim the other day. I was really tired and parked my boat trailer in the driveway and partially in the grass on top of a flat brick. I chalked the tire with a red brick and figured it was good to go. Unhooked and parked my truck next to the boat trailer. Then I realized I had these really cool rubber tire chocks and proceeded to remove the brick to stuff the chock in there. Well the trailer rolled from the one side straight at my truck. It hit the truck and I thought my bedside was going to be wasted. But the hitch just hit my rim which was a good thing but now I have a 1 inch gouge in it.

 

Sorry to hear, sounds like it could've been worse so take the good with bad.

 

Ami 12" big stick antenna. Not sure, little too shiny for my liking, however it does keep me from breaking things from hitting garage. Just put on so not sure on reception. Will give try. Feel free to be honest and let me know if u think it looks good, ok, or bad. Tnx

 

I mean it's an antenna so not gonna go crazy over but here u might be able to see it better or how little too shiny imo. Does serve purpose, guess reception will be deciding factor. Keep or send back and cut oem couple inches. Decisions decisions

 

Personally, I like the looks of it .

Hey Dal, true I'm not a fan of chrome but if I was u I like chrome I wouldn't give a shit what I or anybody else thought. With that said even being chrome they do look nice. I'd say if u like the chrome look go for it. I think they sharp.

 

I like it. Is the finish more of a chrome or machined finish?

They are black chrome. Black underneath so they aren't too flashy and they hold up well in the New England snow and road salt the guy said

No and I mean zero offense taken. That was my point in my response. I get it don't hurt to get some opinions, especially if 50 people said in a row they horrible u might want to rethink. But I do same when I ask opinion. I wouldn't do it or not do for anyone else but myself. That's why I was saying u shouldn't give too much of a shit what others think if u like em. I typically will only ask if I'm on the fence. If I know I like I don't give a shit if No one else does. Things like my antenna, I'm up in air on. But for your rims whatever it worth I think they look great, and that's coming from a guy who's not a chrome fan. No worries here matey no offense taken I'm with ya a 100 on what u were saying. If u like go for it. They hot looking for being chrome.

Literally 2 sec ago just got done swapping omw halogen vanity, map and dome light for some vleds. I gotta say these lights are bright as F, even with the sun shining bright. Onto the footwells front and rear.

 

This Saturday is fun day!!!!

 

That's it. Very highly rated less. No worries about flicker or shorts or fuses blowing bc of the quality. Or so I've been told. It was pretty easy to install so far. Hardest part was getting my fingers and tape around to remove original halogen yellow bulbs.

 

Are the vanity bulbs the same as the dome LEDs?

These lights are tits. The vanity are not same. Get them now, they got a smoking deal for a dollar each. I got around to 4 the same dome and map. Did the 4 vanity that are same color but different smaller strip board. I then got done the driver and rear driver footwell. Could've done all but gonna have them send me a 48 length wire instead of 36 to account for if both seats were moved all way forward. 36 is real tight. If u need the specific models let me know. I called them n told them what I wanted they got the right leds for each application. U can do that or I can tell ya. Definitely fn awesome looking. Crystal clear bright light. It shines from both in n out. From outside looks like high end vehicle lighting. Definitely inexpensive mod that makes a huge difference. I wanted 5k but on backorder so went 6k. With a black leather interior I think I like 6k better. Glad it went that way.

 

I did my interiors with LEDs and had a few extra bulbs. Was just wondering if they were the same bulb and you answered my question. Thanks.

 

Little better pic. With the doors open it lights up my entire 2 car width driveway and some. Very happy with them.
