2019 sr5; at 500 miles had the rear axle swapped because it was out of spec. Since then nothing but routine maintenance (oil and other fluid changes, brakes, tried and serpentine belt). I have over 93,000 miles and you will have to pry this from my cold dead hands to get me into a newer version….mostly because it’s paid off and it’s amazing not to have a car payment!

    2008 5.7. 230,000 miles.

New wheel bearings all the way around ( only the DS rear was bad, but figured, why not do them all?)

U- joints at the diffy 3x. They under warranty and I can do it quick.

New alternator at 90k(that job sucks ...and I have a hoist).

Rodents gnawed on the engine harness at 210k. $15 to repair.

I drag an RV 2X per year. I want to do maintenance before I hit the road.

I do have a window switch recall service out there, but could give 2 shits. If it catches fire, I figure I'm ahead of the game if the truck burns down.

2023, Limited, 4X4 Crewcab with 12,378 miles. No major issues, just annoyances with radio knob, seat creaking noises, and overall quality of craftsmanship with the interior.

2023, 1794, 4x4 Crewcab with 13,xxx miles. No major issues. Went in for the gas tank recall. Thats about it.
Only annoyance is the throttle delay once in awhile. Aside from that, the truck has been running great.

Only suffers from the fuel gauge reset to Full about once a month. (Easy reset) 19mpg life avg. 17/21 trip avg. Remote Connect and Drive Connect services expired today. Not planning on paying for them yet again!! Love the truck!! Hate the business plan ….

I have a 2016 SR5 Tundra. Bought in 2019 it had roughly 21,500 miles on it.
It now has 61,000 plus miles.
    No issues or problems.

2001 Tundra SR5 access cab TRD off road (bought new), 200100 miles first major failure (fuel pump failure) RockAuto to the rescue along with new power steering lines (seepage) my daily beater driver back in business.

2002 Sequoia SR5, 130000 miles no major issues other than exhaust manifolds starting to tick on cold start. Replaced leaking power steering rack a couple years ago.

2005 Tundra Limited access cab, sold it with 120000 miles, no major issues except had to replace oxygen sensors a few years back.

2023 Tundra Limited double cab TRD off road, 12500 miles, catastrophic failure (radio knob broke off) otherwise been flawless. No wind noise, no engine noises. Good torque and power, love it so far.

I do all my own maintenance and am a firm believer in frequent and regular oil changes, fluid changes, etc. Timing belts every 100K etc. (t belt not a thing on the 2023 obviously)

Rear differential failed at 1,100 miles. Dealer service escalated to Toyota and got it back in service after 10 days, most of that was waiting for parts. Got a 2nd FOB while in for service since status was screwed up (Toyota said I already received 2nd FOB). Dealer Service took care of it. Great dealer service. Funny thing is that I was just notified in the APP that my 2nd one is ready.

6 months service in June. Changed oil/filter and differential fluid. No metal in either one. So far, so good.

Lucky to be able keep two trucks ! I struggled with letting go of the 2016 Platinum with only 86k miles but bought used with 65k miles and wanted new, so in 15-20yrs can have my own 1-owner high mileage keeper.

2023 SR5 that I've owned from 14miles now to just under 14kmiles in 15 months of ownership. Been on 35s on Methods with a Westcott kit since 1100 miles. No hiccups mechanically thus far. Only issue I've really had is the seat back pops every now and again and the fuel gauge (which is an annoying but easy reset). 5k oil changes after doing a 1k break in oil change.

Just topped 30k on my '23 TRD Sport (manufacture date 2/13/23, VIN not included in recall), and I drive it as it's meant to be driven. Aside from general maintenance, there hasn't been a single issue. Seat panel is even crack-free.
By 30k in my '08 Tundra SR5 TRD Off-Road, I had the AC blower go and 3 door lock actuators replaced. My '20 Taco SR5 had some sort of wire melt against the engine, don't remember the exact thing, but it was a $1,000 fix and would not be covered under warranty even though everything was bone stock. I'm sure I'd top the character limit of posts if I detailed every issue I had on my '04 Chevy Trailblazer, '99 Explorer, and '91 Pontiac Sunbird I had in the first 30k.

So far this truck has been the most problem-free vehicle I have ever owned at this point in it's life. Probably jinxing myself here, but so far so good.

Toyota technicians do not set the prices of service work. The service manager and dealership manager set the prices on their products and services.
