Hi, I just wanted to introduce myself and my sweet ride. I bought this 2004 DC brand new!

I have done a lot to keep things up over the years, and wanted to say thanks to the great people on here for their wealth of knowledge and for being such a helpful group of folks! Here's the GX/4R brake upgrade, and last year I redid all of the front end suspension and steering rack with mostly stock parts.

I may see you over in the BestGen forum ;)

Looks great. Sometimes I wish I wouldve gotten a FGT DC with a long bed.... but oh well.

Sweet ride. Itll take care of you as long as you take care of it.

Thank you sir! It is a great truck, even after all these years. Although, I have always envied the 5.7 power and brakes! I upsized my brakes and I'm really happy with them now, and I have some headers coming, so hopefully I can gain a few ponies/torque. Thanks to all for the warm welcome!

Did you go long tubes or shorties? Full exhaust afterwards? You’ll love it!

    Both! :)

But I can't use the long tubes in CO (...!), so I will be installing the shorties. I'm going to try stock for a bit, while I decide on the rest.
