    Haven't read thru the entire thread, but wanted to post that my 09 was wrecked very similar to yours. I bought it from the insurance auction.

    A 12 year old Tundra with a Savage title doesn't sell for much less a 12 year old Tundra with a clear title.

    Don't even worry about the title. It means nothing if you plan on keeping the truck for as long as it runs good.

    I bet you get a decent check in addition to keeping the truck. Use the money to put the truck back together.

    You may even get lucky, if the truck never leaves your hands and you don't have a loan on it, it may remain a clear title.

    It happened to me on one of my Tacoma's. (All my vehicles are auction wreck purchases)
