I also wouldn't let the dealer know that there were only 2,343 cement TRD Pros made, 255 of those were double cabs. Well, you can let them know after the deal is done.

Wow Watt, now you have me thinking back a few years ago about how many 69 camaro ZL1s were made.

Definitely not as rare or sought after as the ZL1 (only 69 made). Who knows, maybe in 30-40 years these trucks will gain value. Look at the older land cruisers and even the early 80's toyota trucks, they seem be gaining value.

So it turns out my dealer was wrong.... there are 2 WHITE TRD PRO's still available and not cement... so that is a major bummer. Like i said i don't mind white but if thats the case i'd rather wait and get the 2019.....sogh... guess i'll probably turn to the used market and see what comes up.

If I could’ve found a pro easily when I was buying my truck, I would’ve gotten it. Now that I know what I know I would think twice. And then still probably get it. I am not by any means a hard-core off road guy. I want to be but I don’t have money to be getting myself into that kind of trouble. The pro suspension is not rebuildable so that is a negative. But for my day-to-day use and somewhat frequent trail rides it would be perfect. Now if I wanted to build a hard-core off-road truck I would probably just get an SR5. Why pay for shocks twice.

I know I like it too. I think it would be cool if they made a wet cement color. Is it just me or does the cement look like mint green to anybody? Not like that’s a bad thing but my color blind eyes lie to me.

I think your wet cement color would compare to the destroyer gray dodge has. Our cement color is definitely unique.
I had someone ask me if the color was blue ivory. It was overcast outside and when I looked I kinda thought it had a blueish look to it.
When the sun is shining there is no mistaking that my TRDP is cement!

As i've said before i really wanted the cement but seeing the white in person i really started to like it. It is one of the last Pro's in Canada and after seeing the 2019 i thought this was a much better deal and possibly nicer truck. The Canadian Pro's come with heated seats and sunroof as well which was a must for me.

White is the fastest color after all. Good decision. That could possibly be the last new 17 pro in North America.

I like the white too. great look.

keep in mind though it's faster because they left off the clear coat.

When I bought our PRO I also could have afforded the 1794 which I really liked too.

The PRO introduced in 2015 had the retro TOYOTA grill and chrome delete. Two of three things that caught my eye. The other was the Inferno color.

My friends saw the Inferno color and called it too wild for them...over the top especially for Toyota and wondered who would ever buy it. Then I bought and the color grew on them.

I don't have any desire to off-road this vehicle but if I was into competitive off-roading where this was in a class to compete in then I would desire the smaller gas tank, cloth seats, no extra motors for a rear window to go up and down. It would be all about weight saving.

Someday someone may want to spend a little more for my mall crawler (or not) for their off-road purposes but in the meantime it's a vehicle that I really like and use daily. Has a nice suspension.

It's been nice to only make one payment each month and not spend too much more to make it more something.

I would get a PRO again if something were to happen to this one. Getting a PRO would be my first choice and choosing a color would be not as important. I've had a lot of different colors on different vehicles and a change from one color to another is not a problem. In fact, I have not bought the same color immediately after selling. I do gravitate towards the MGM color as I have owned more of that color.

my 4runner was black and i think Toyota left the clear coat off of that as well... such thin paint on that truck!

Yeah I think the pro would’ve definitely fit my needs. Pretty much comes perfect for somebody who’s not real hard-core but likes the capability of getting into a little trouble if you want to. If I had a pro all I think I would’ve added is some rock sliders and maybe some more skid plates. Then upgrade the tires when the time came. And I know a lot of guys get the pro and then totally change everything to make it a bad ass ride. That’s cool if you’ve got the funds for it. But if I’m going to throw 20 grand into mods I’m definitely going to look for a truck that’s a little less expensive to start with if I’m going to throw away half of the crap on it LOL. I will say color matched everything sure does look good though.

This is my first white vehicle of my own. It just happened to be the one on the lot that I liked. And the white has grown on me I was always a silver or gray guy, if I could choose the color. For me, sometimes I’ll settle for a color if it’s the truck that I want.
