Don't get butt hurt its just my opinion. I couldn't care less about the TYGER longevity. I was just saying Id never purchase those NFABS with the hang down steps for a few reason one was apperance

Off. Unless you have someone who needs the assist to enter the cab . I have an MGM Crewmax and I have the Toyota standard all black side running board/bar and I think it looks better than the higher priced Toyota chrome/black ones. And, when the time comes, I will remove those and replace them with the retractable ones (AMP running boards), as I prefer the look and function of my vehicle without running boards when in motion.

Ok cool. Everyone has an opinion and if we went off everyone else we would never progress.

Personally I hate the factory ones on my truck but having the ability to step up is nice. With that said they both are also pretty scratched up from off roading and them dragging

I hate black ones, looks ugly. Seems like every dam person wants to paint their wheels black on truck and black out chrome. For me it's just ugly and stupid

I really like the NFAB with a lift, but since I’m running just a small rise, I went with the IRON CROSS because of the low profile.

And they did save my ass when a Corolla, driven by a million year old dude, side swiped my pssanger side and would have done some damage to my doors but the step and back wheel took all of it. The bars need some much deserved paint, but structurally they are very strong (the back plastic cap on the back end was destroyed)

The old man got out of his car yelling and blaming me for being in the lane he wanted to get into :frusty:

I like the look of off however hopping in and out can get old like myself ( 53 ) ok i'm not that old. I like the look of the tyger. Overall looking for sleek. researched the amp steps, I'm conserned about the machanics living in the midatlantic, salt ect.. Lots of wire splicing/taping. Inpunt has been FANTASTIC from all of you.
THank YOU!! Looking forward for more imput

I am also researching the amp steps. I am in Dayton, OH, we can get nasty weather. Lots of ice and salt for sure. I was skeptical about the motor and functionality over time, but the owner of the shop I go to has had them on his F-350 for 8+ years and still running strong. That gave me encouragement, now just waiting until my wallet fills itself :)

Yeah....old here, too, but also young or old, one should stand up to get out, and save the stitching on the outside edge of that driver's seat. Unless your legs are five feet long, that's hard to do without it. So.....ON!

I like the look without at stock height but I have short people that still needed something to make it easier to get in. I went with the Rhino RB 10 because they don't hang down

I did that with my door handles. left one side chrome the other black. chrome won. the whole goth truck scene is not for me. i like the accents and love the black and chrome steps due to the functionality of them.

Off, or go with a different style. I replaced mine with predator steps, but while I had the old ones off, I was like damn the truck looks so clean with no steps at all. If it was just me who ever used the truck I'd have probably left it off.

Your choice though man. Go with what YOU like and what you need.

Looks better off. Lots of steps out there to choose from if you don't like the ones you currently have. I like the idea of getting your painted. Or get rhino lined. Give it texture for grip in bad weather.
