Wireless CarPlay for those with 2020's...

I really think it may be my Apple Watch messing with the signal. Just had a 20 minute drive with it, terrible reception and dropping sound constantly.

I’ll have another drive this afternoon without the watch near by and see what happens.

 

Just ordered a 3.0, hopefully I have good luck with it.

 

It wasn't the apple watch.

The wireless carlinkit 3.0 has been returned. Too glitchy for my taste.

 

I've got the CPLAY2AIR unit, but it's got the exact same firmware update address and screen. Mine has been problem free.

 

Yeah. I don’t get it.

I figure i have it plugged in most of the time on long trips anyway. I’ll just use Bluetooth for round town short drives.
