They have them at best buy now. Going to pick up mine tomorrow! I hope it works on my pioneer unit as well as you guys are reporting. Probably going to extend the USB from the back of the unit and also install a bypass wire while I'm back there. Anyone have experience with that part? TIA

Gonna try this, tired of wired connection and this is 2024 with a 2021 truck, it shouldn't be this hard....

 

Since this just got bumped, I'll give my ~1.5 year review - probably works 90% of the time. Every once and a while it will just fail to connect and I'll have to unplug and replug the adapter. Overall I'd say it's worth it (especially at $60), but I wish it was just totally plug and forget.

 

I've had mine over a year now and I'm proud to report I've not had a single issue. It connects automatically and it's definitely been worth it.

 

Got it late last night so installed this morning on the drive to work, less than 15 seconds total (getting it out of the box was another story....)

First impression, easy to use, easy to pair, haven't used the map and all the other stuff and kid's podcast/story seem to project correctly and clearly as if wired.
It did disconnect once during the drive (30 mins) and re-connected itself, so not sure if it was just a hiccup or what.
So far, pretty happy with it, but if it tends to disconnect more often then I am not sure about it.
