OEMs ony 2019, original still. On my work truck I just installed the RainX Latitude, so far so good.

I'll get 2+ years out of OEM blades, my daughter got over 3 years out of her blades. A couple times a year I clean them then apply 303 on the blades to help them from drying out

I have tried many different types of blades but the Toyota blades have been the best by far for me. I change them every year. The Georgia heat takes a toll on them.

I just put the Bosch icons on my truck and they’re great so far. We will see how long they last

Clean the windshield. Like really clean it. Use a glass polish of your windshield is getting streaky, like Glass-X or Meguire’s windshield polish. Makes the surface uniform and removes water spots and mild grooves. Also smooths the millions of small rock chips that are hard to see. Then Rain-X for the win. I rarely have to activate my wipers when driving after the above, the water just slides off the windshield. No smears, no streaks.

Also, Rain-X has to be re-applied monthly. It’s not permanent. Most people that don’t like it, put it on once and did not maintain it. I reapply it 2-4 times a year or so and it does fine in my area. The less you use the wipers the longer it lasts.

Tried lots. RainX and their coupler to attach suck. I used Tricos previously which were decent. After seeing all the folks say that OEM is best, I picked some up last week. Super easy to put on and as soon as I tried em I knew they were better. Smooth movement, don’t miss a spot. Cleaner wipe than any others I’ve used. I will stick with OEM from here on out. I always buy the expensive versions of whichever brand I use, and OEM works better and are cheaper.

No chatter? Smooth wipe? I got the sightlines on my Tundra after liking them on the Tacoma and they chatter! Brand new and they act like they are dry rubber.

Though I did not read this thread I will later. In the title do they all suck,I am sure some do without a doubt. But I did see a video along time ago which I cannot find at this time. Dude had a small type razor blade that was preset so not too much would cut off, the rubber side of the wiper. Anyway you run it down the rubber side of the wiper making the wiper like new. If found I would give this a go potentially double or triple the life of the wiper making the consumer happier.

Call me outdated or old, IDK. I have used Trico or Anco over the years and never had a complaint. Last set was pricey, mounting was a PIA but are working great. Will go with the same next time. Only replaced OEM because they were 3 yrs old, no other complaints. Good Luck

Does anyone know if the good OEM (85222-0C030; 85212-0C030) work for the 21 tundra? Most parts dealers I am seeing say they are not compatible.

This right here. I do Aquapel on all of our cars twice a year. Often can be found under other names too, Vision-Blade, etc. It's like Rain-X that doesn't suck and lasts for months.

I'm convinced that everyone has a different perception of what a well functioning wiper blade looks like. I've had OEM and Sightlines and neither one performed as well, even on a clean windshield, as the old style wiper refills on my wife's 19 year old Sienna with the original windshield. And as I've droned on about before, the beam style we're stuck with just doesn't appear to wipe as well as the older wiper blades (not to mention the added expense of having to replace the beam vs refills/rubber only).

Actually, I found a 'hack' of sorts - use the Rain-X low temperature windshield wiper fluid. Does essentially the same thing, plus, bonus - it doesn't freeze up in cold weather. :)

My go to for years has been Trico Flex.

They are decently priced enough that the truck gets a new pair right before winter, and new pair 1/3 of the way into summer (So every 6 months)

My wife’s car gets all three replaced with the same ones, at the same interval.

Can anyone confirm that the OEM blades 85222-0C030 and 85212-0C030 will fit a 2021. When I look these up on Toyota parts websites it says they fit up to a 2019 and does not fit 21 models.

I've been using Valeo's on my wife's Lexus for years and just ordered a set to try on the Tundra.

I used the Costco Michelins for years until they changed the mounting bracket several years back, maybe they fixed it by now?

I just bought a set of OEM Wipers (Not Sightlines) They appear to have a graphite coating on the blades. My original's are still going strong, so I am not planning to replace them anytime soon,, but wanted to have a set available if needed and since they were on sale with free shipping I couldn't pass them up.

You can get these at Ollie's Bargan store too. For $4-$6.00, I buy several at a time for all my rigs. The price for wipers is stupid crazy, even before the
    supply demand BS.
