This past week my wipers have been cutting out soon after being turned on. The washer fluid still works but the wipers just stop.

Had it happen very early Tuesday morning, went to clean off the windshield and the wipers started but never made a pass and the spray covered the window and I was not able to see, good thing I was close to home. I did notice I had to give it a good push to get it moving again and for some reason they are working fine again. I got an appointment on Saturday, and got a video of the issue just in case I/they can't replicate the issue.

Has anyone had a similar issue with their wipers?

I've never personally seen it on a Toyota... However, it wouldn't surprise me if someone out there in the vast world of our Yota family has had similar issues.

I've seen this happen on a certain brand of American trucks, however. Ended up being a body control module mounted in the steering column assembly.

My guess is it's probably just a faulty switch or an open circuit somewhere.

Good luck man! Keep us updated!
