The windshield washer nozzles on my 2020 SR5 kept plugging during a snow storm. It looks an issue that is likely to reoccur due to the placement of the nozzles. Are there any solutions to this?

Are you sure the tips are not getting frozen?

Need to use anti-freeze washer fluid.

    Tastefully enhanced...
Use the purple -30° windshield washer fluid at Walmart...it duals as another way to wipe ice off in the morning too!! There's also a one-way check valve that leaves fluid in the tubes for instant window juice...I always had mine freezing up while moving too despite the purple juice...I swapped it for a regular tee-fitting and the fluid drains back into the tank in the engine compartment, stays more warm and now works when I need it. There is only a couple second delay to when the juice squirts on the windshield which is a better tradeoff...for me at least...

You just solved a mystery for me and freezing washer fluid despite purple fluid. T-fitting coming shortly.

The blue stuff was in there, good to -20?? The purple stuff and removing the check valve is probably the way to go. For the record the nozzles were clogged/frozen before I left but I let the truck run and warm up then they thawed out. They worked ok for a bit, but as it got colder and snowed, more they would clog up. Basically the snow was piling up in front of the windshield blocking the fluids path to the windshield.

Thanks for the info as it confirms I'm not losing my mind. I have had frozen over nozzles in the past but never line frozen. I had this issue going over Teton pass into Jackson a couple weeks ago and it really sucked.

Or just use your regular washer fluid and add a quart of 90% isopropyl alcohol.
