With spring arriving, I am finding the desire to get a windshield sunshade to keep the sun off the black leather. I moved the truck yesterday and it was a bit toasty. I have seen a number of different ones on Amazon and real truck but I wanted to ask the Tundra people what they are using and like. I have seen the weather tech online but it is $60. The one I had for my first gen was something from Walmart. I just want to make sure I have something that fits and serves its purpose.

I have the one that rolls up from Toyota, fits perfectly, no complaints. I have a flat fold up one in one of my other cars and that one is much easier to open and close up. The biggest issue is where to store it. I roll mine up and shove it under the back seat. It's out of the way for the most part but sticks out just a bit.

I've had great success w covercraft folding covers. Always perfect fit and does a great job keeping the heat out. Check them out.

Have a cheap $10 one. Works just fine. Rest of my windows are tinted.

x2 on this. I had one for my last car, and it was one of the first things I bought after I got my truck. They are pricey for a sunshade, but they are very well made and fit nicely. It's the UVS100.

I also have this. Seems to work good. A sunshade is a sunshade. I just wanted one that was a perfect clean fit which is why I purchased this.

I purchased a Covercraft folding cover, easy to put up and stores under the rear seat. High quality materials and they have a few different colors to choose from, I went with the ICE color which almost matches the Cement color on my truck.

I also have the heatshield brand windshield sunshade. These are the same models that the dealerships carry. I have been using these for years, but just saw on their sight that they make them for the side windows too. CM rear side windows not listed, but they do make them. They specialize in aircraft sunshades, but make them for almost any vehicle. I park my truck in the garage, but at work and especially the desert trips the sun beats down pretty hard. These side window shades fasten with small suction cups.

A guy I used to park next to at work had the Weathertech sun shade on his front and side windows and covering up the sides made a huge difference in his inside temps. I plan to pick them up at some point.

It's getting sunny out there. Protect your dash and steering wheel. It also make your truck a little cooler :)
I like this folding style. It's much easier to put away and it's thin enough to fit behind the rear seat's headrests when not in used.

I bought the Heatshield before this one but I didnt like it. Hard to setup and put away.

I've been thinking about this for a while... I was interested to see what the clear ceramic film does. Instally place said it cuts down on UV by 99% and reduces heat by 70% even though it's clear. I thought I'd give it a shot since I'm too lazy/impatient to bust out those window shade thingys. I'll report back when spring finally decides to make an appearance

I love that shade. I have had that for all my past vehicles just haven’t came around to buying one for the tundra.

I placed 3M ceramic 70 on my windshield and it reduces heat drastically. Love it and highly recommend. And it’s so light most people can’t even tell it’s tinted.

I wanted to get the tinted version, but the Mrs was not a fan, since it's for her car, I just did what i was told and handed over my CC

that's what's on mine... not sure i agree with their 90% image though... you can't see that much of a difference, or at least, i couldn't

yea 90 is barely noticeable.. the CR70 gives a nice blue hue.. another option is llumar air80. the CR70 edges it out heat reduction wise though but barely.

Yup I’ve got the 70 and most people can’t even tell it’s tinted. But the level of heat reduction is crazy. I even put it over my stock tint to help with the heat.
