Window regulator clips broke. Currently fixing.

    2010 crewmax.

    My driver's side front window, rear window regulator clip/ bracket just broke. I replaced the window felt trim piece and I've cleaned out the window channels and have relubed it with some dry lithium. I'm assuming it broke because of binding with the channels and old trim. And because it's a crappy plastic piece

    I found some replacement brackets on Amazon because I'm not spending $600 on a whole new window when I just need to replace a simple bracket piece.

    Pain in the ass part is that the plastic bracket is epoxied to the window. So I'm going to apply some heat and get it off. The reglue the new piece in the same spot.

    Hopefully this works. Will update as I go.

    I had to do that to my single cab a few years ago. I traded that truck about a year later, so i don't know if the repair held beyond that.
