Unreal how much time that took to get your truck back. But that ARB bumper and the snorkel look great. Love how this build is coming along.

Milled some of our logs today. With the airbags she barely squatted - less than the f350 20220428_130551.jpg 20220429_152253.jpg 20220429_200032.jpg

Haven't done any work on it other than taking out the blown out battery, but tomorrow it goes in for shocks and coil springs. The new battery has a different terminal size so I need to either get a stepdown stud or ream out the lugs.

Got a redfish on Mother's day. Very tasty!

    Mocking up solar
    Installed wireless charging tray
Fixed redarc problem (woke sok battery by resetting internal bms)
Trimmed dobinson snorkel 3/4" so cleaner sits flush
Installed ARB Diff Breather kit for the rear
Got the inverter in stock (Xantrex sounds like a pill you take so you don't get little red spots) and mounted.

    Suspension rescheduled for July 25

Winch wired in with 500 amp ANL fuse and battery cutoff selector switch to choose from starting or aux battery. Added a battery post to the tool box to move the big connections off the main terminal. Added a circuit breaker for the inverter. Got three sheets of marine plywood to get started on the cabinets.

Drilling out and affixing fridge slides. Getting final fit done. Putting together the hutch. Pucks for wire standoffs installed (rubberized magnets +vhb tape). Solar panels affixed with seam sealer and vhb tape. Need to do the front edge with silicone once seam sealer is dry.

Final silicone on the solar roof, wiring cleanup. Saw 140 watts coming in from the panels at one point, putting 8.5 amps into the battery. Cutting and test fitting the final cabinetry.

Hey, was just wondering how you stop the lp4 for ditch lights. Do you thing they’re too big for ditch lights? Do you wish you went smaller or larger lp6’s?

For my use, which is 30-50mph night time, pointed on the shoulders, they work phenomenally. Their profile is a little large. I wouldn't go physically any larger. Some people don't like them as ditch lights because of the wide beam. My angles I have set, they don't throw too much light on the hood.

Been putting the truck to work moving logs around for milling. Dragging a 10' 24" diameter oak up the side of the stack exhausted my little 100ah jobber tute suite but I can just switch to the starting while it charges back up.

It rained 6 times today, just to make sure that we were in a sous vide all day.

If you live around swamps in the Southeastern US these are all around you but rarely encountered. Almost entirely aquatic snake that uses grooved rear fangs to deliver a low pressure venom to eat long slimy prey like sirens and amphiumas. Mudsnake Farancia abacura DOR. Harmless to humans and doesn't even bite in self defense but this species will poke you with its blunt tail tip when in-hand.

Cleaning up some live oak (heavy) with a rusty dump trailer and the side blew out from the Swiss cheese frame. A ~16" diameter 4' log came out of the front and hit the tailgate. It landed on the plastic bumper and popped my license plate cover bottom bolt covers but didn't scratch the plastic. Kind of bummed because it was kind of an operator /loader error that could have been avoided. But it's just the tailgate and it probably won't be the last time I fuck it up before I finish renovation of the house we bought.

Maybe I'll make this the beater tailgate and get a second one I keep nice for special occasions =D

Were you able to figure this out? I just ordered my ARB this weekend and was hoping the Badlands Apex would fit. I am worried about the issue you mentioned. It looks like you are able to run the Apex?
