Looking for recommendations on a wider tire for my new 2015 tundra platinum that will compliment my pocketed fender flares.

Are you looking for a set of wider tires or are you just looking at the wider stance or both? Do you have any lift on your truck?

Thanks for responding, my truck is stock and not a 4x4. Ideally, I'd like to have a tire that looks a little aggressive and bit wider but not necessarily a A/T since I won't be doing any off roading and enjoy a smooth ride. Looking for something that incorporates a little of both worlds.

    Oh one or two.
Iust get a wheel with a more aggressive offset with a 12.5" wide tire that will do it. Say if you did a 18x10 or a 20x10 with a -24mm back space and a 12.5" wide tire that would give you a pretty aggressive stance.

That's my 18x9's with a +20mm offset wrapped in 35x12.50" tires. With no over fenders.

    That looks great, jlee.

If you are not planning to get fender flares, I would recommend 35 mm offset (9 inch width). With 35x12.5, your tires will stick out a bit beyond the factory fender. If you are thinking of getting fender flares, 18 mm offset with 295s or 305s are good sizes. Any wider, you are likely to rub the body mount. As you could see in my sig pic, with 295/70/18 on 18 mm offset wheels, my tires are roughly flush with pocket style fender flares.

There are some compromise tires that look pretty aggressive. Look into BFG AT KO2, Nitto Exo Grappler, Toyo R/T, GoodYear DuraTrac, and Cooper ST MAXX. These give you a reasonable ride and still look quite aggressive.
