    That was awesome! I'm gonna jack your link and put a post in the 2nd gen forum. The 3rd gens have a boxed frame so this process would not be easy. Actually if he'd done it right, it wouldn't have been that easy on a 2nd gen either.

    I have a tacoma longbed double cab. The tundra 5.5 is about the same size.
    A bit wider which is nice. The 6.5 is a great option but isnt good in metropolitan areas where parting spots are tight.
    In what we consider regular spots, the nose sticks out 2 feet.

    2023 Blueprint Tundra 1794 - Stock to the Bone!
    I had a 2017 Ram with the 6.5 bed. Parking that was like parking an aircraft carrier. The problem, in most restaurant parking lots, wasn’t the spots width it was the distance between rows. I couldn’t swing far enough to get a semi straight shot into my space. Then I stuck out so far I was concerned about the guy in the row behind me backing into me to get himself out. That was my one and only long bed truck! :curls:
