Lotsa Tesla down here in Houston.

    I love my Tundra.
and/but...nothing can outperform our MS Plaid. Not a thing.

Elon is a lot of things. some things I like, some I don't.

    but look at the numbers....

All I will say is awhile back I was sitting in a room full of people who were as far from being Musk fans as anybody can be because they’re butthurt he bought Twitter. Ranting about what an idiot he is and how he’ll destroy twitter and go bankrupt. A couple 90 year old retirees, one a civil servant, one a lifelong house wife. Another was a younger house Mom with a side business doing arts and crafts and arranging closets, who got some sort of business degree 15 years ago and worked for a sneaker company for a bit before quitting to drive her kids around and watch them draw. And then the engineer hubby who collects a paycheck and commutes in an Accord to save on gas, all Monday morning QB-ing the business sense of a guy with 140 billion in the bank. I kept quiet but I thought it was just about one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen.

I think Musk is going to have a harder time now that a bunch of manufacturers are jumping deeper into the market and pressure will build if fossil fuels get unleashed here again down the line.

I am not doing the fanboy thing. But as a guy who collects a pay check and doesn’t have experience running huge corporations I keep an open mind and have to see a couple years of results and what the next Moves are before I can decide if it looks like the ship is sinking. Not ready to call him dumb yet.

You seem to have quite an emotional take on the guy.

I just think that telling people what companies to support or not for moral reasons is pretty rich. You’d better not be using Apple, Google, Microsoft, Dell, Adidas, Lululemon, or Nike products, either. Nothing at all with a battery that contains cobalt! Lol. Or any other products made by companies linked to awful working conditions, child labor, (ethnically) forced labor, etc.

Another thing that gets lost on some folks is that Twitter was a non profitable, always in the red, business since day one. Musk has every right to run it as he sees fit to make it profitable. It's clear that shenanigans were going on there. Time to clean house!

I was caught up on the hype of having an electric truck and the Tesla Truck but as mentioned by others the electric truck is just not practical for all intensive purposes and certainly not the golden grail to for a revolution in replacing the combustion engine. Serves its purpose in some markets like an A-B city car.

I think Toyota has a great opportunity towards a hydrogen version but im no engineer.

The look of the Cyber was exciting at first but it really is ugly beyond belief .

My 2023 Tundra is a great truck but certainly could of benefited in some fine tuning to be sure and there are some fair reviews talking about some issues with it as well.

    Hope that explains it.

The cybertruck looks like some kid in 2nd grade designed it with a crayon. Wtf is up with the sloped bed? It does have some cool features, but from a practical and functional standpoint it seems like a nightmare to use as a work truck on jobsites. Also ,as far as range goes, If this winter has proven anything it is that evs aren't for cold weather climates.

I don't like the Gen 3 Tundra, but its still a damn sight better than the CyberTruck! I see the Gen 3 Tundra's on the road, even park next to them when I can and do a 'stare and compare' and I just like the lines of the Gen 2.5 better.

I own a Tundra LTD DC and love it and also have a early reservation CT on order and am one of the few early adopters of Tesla cars. I own 3 Tesla cars, the oldest one being a 2015 with 91k miles and original battery, the car runs and looks like new.

    >>>>ITS REALLY UGLY BEYOND BELIEF !!
You don't have to buy it or even look at it, turn your head away next time you see one, you seem to know a lot about it though

    >>>>Second , just too pretentious and embarrassing to drive to job sites.
Not really, I have clients too and its actually a good conversation starter

    >>>>Three , technology is still not there especially where I live with temperatures in winter that would drain the battery by 40%.
Not really, I llive in the east coast, get lake effect low temperatures frequently, its been zero and below 0 F in the last 8 years of ownership and have never experienced any drainage, I have driven to Canada, Maine, Colorado in all our Teslas, and not one experience like the one you claim.

    >>>Third , rumours that the price will be over $120 000.00 at minimum.
We'll find out on November 30, 2023, no need to speculate

    >>>>Four - the interior is ugly and plain
Again, this is your opinion, make sure you don't sit in one and don't look at any more interiors since it is unbearable to you.

    >>>Five the yolk ( or whatever they call ) that silly steering wheel.
Don't drive one, you may not like it, I am not sure about the steering wheel either, but I will let my experiennce determine that

    >>>>Six , infrastructure for charging is far and few plus there is a significant cost to charge especially when you add my time just standing there.
You don't seem to have enough knowledge about EVs, Tesla has the most advanced network for charging, I have never been stranded in the past 9 years of ownership, look at your point # 3 response to where all i have driven

    >>>>Seven - no matter what they say , the battery is Not replaceable. Anyone saying otherwise is lying .
I have 90k miles on my oldest tesla, its my beater car, i plan on driving it till it dies and upgrade the battery, the current price is around $15-20K, similar cars have over 250k miles on them, I will worry about it when the time comes, until then, I will enjoy it.

There is a lot of Tesla hate, if anything, you need to admire a company that takes risks, designing a car like the CT took a lot of engineering an risk, and it is a 100% American company with American talent, innovation and built with immigrant spirit employing staff of all genders and race.

You seem to be a hater, and haters gonna hate hate hate

LOL, since the CT is nearing release might as well. I am not Tesla fanboy, I have plenty of complaints too but it would be beyond the scope of this post.

I can visualize the likes of OP trying to key a Tesla, so much hate!

Good thing is nobody here, on this thread, is in line to get one anytime soon; so they have plenty of time for any improvements. It’ll still outsell many trucks out there I bet.
