No connections. Can I get a patch from them for you? Not sure how all that works, if they just give patches away. Its almost an 8-hour drive from where I live. I can try and contact them if you want. I don’t mind helping, if I can.

Total derail, but I gotta ask. @Jim LE 1301 do you collect LEO patches? Is it just PDs, or do you collect sheriff ones too?

I can try to get an Aurora PD patch. A friend's brother is an anti- gang unit Det.

 

I just called APD non emergency line. I explained that I need to get an APD patch for a retired LEO. A friend. I won't go into details here but I explained why I would like to get one. I was given a name and # to call Monday morning. I remember when you sent Manny the Tformer Camaro. My turn Jim!

 

I appreciate it but don't go crazy. It's the thought that counts.
Matt I did that for Manny because I wanted too, no need to do that. Just make sure he doesn't want a Mustang when he starts driving.

That's what makes this site so great, strangers going out of there way for strangers or especially helping out those in need when they really need it.

I've been keeping a secret for about 1 week now because I know if people knew they would rally together. I'm getting better now, I had my 5th major back surgery.......that's why I was always up before Bryan.

As for me going crazy; no worries there. Just if you'd like some I can ask around and see if they've got any. Doesn't cost me anything, and I like meeting with LEOs. They tend to remember those who don't make the community relations side of things a one way street.
