If you were local, I’d definitely wash it for you. Don’t worry about Target or Autozone. You won’t get in too much trouble there. It’s when you have half a dozen detailing supply websites bookmarked that it becomes a problem.
And all the work I put in pays off when, like this morning, some guy at the gas station hollers out “Hey man, that is a beautiful truck, holy shit!” I don’t know why women have a problem with catcalling. It warms my heart inside when men compliment my baby’s looks!

Anyway, once you get it washed, a good sealant will help keep it that way, and make it much easier to clean in the future. Lucky for you guys, I’ve spent the hours and money figuring out the best combos so you don’t have to.

Depending on your time and budget, I could recommend a few things.

Excellent! I’m usually the type to just leave it dirty or go to the car wash. First Sunday in a while I didn’t have work to do, took my time, was almost therapeutic.
Do you already have a list put together or just ask as the cleaning comes up again?

Do you have a pressure washer? If so, a foam cannon and some Chemical Guys Honeydew Snow Foam makes it easier. If not, just wash with what you bought. Maguiar’s makes excellent products.
Get a bottle of Optimum No Rinse or Carpro Ech20. These are rinseless washes. You can wash your truck really fast with these if it isn’t too filthy.

Once you get it washed, applying a sealant will keep it Cleaner longer, and protect your paint. Best combo I’ve found is Carpro Hydro2 or Gyeon WetCoat, with P&S Beadmaker on top.
Carpro Reload, Gtechniq C2V3, or Jescar Powerlock are all great stand alone products.

For time and money, just a bottle of Gyeon Wetcoat will do wonders. You just spray it on and rinse it off. You can seal your truck in about ten minutes with it.

Because you just want me to do it for you. I totally would though.

I don’t know if you’ve seen any of my posts about it, but I used Jescar Powerlock on the wife’s Sequoia. It made that MGM look amazing.
