I think the main thing to keep in mind and take away from all of this is that....
    none of it is real.

    It's just odd as F. The #1 thread in Gen3 is about.....F150's?
Why not just open an F150 sub?

Well, the 3G Tundra was damn near the same powertrain that the F150 has been running since 2017 so its a valid question.

The 3rd gen Tacoma was terrible. The 2nd gen owners had a point. I test drove the 3rd gen back to back to back with a GMC Canyon and the old Nissan Frontier with the 4.0L and 5 speed transmission. No way in hell would I have suffered day in and day out driving that 3.5L.

Of course, I bet 99% of people who buy Tacoma's never bothered to test drive anything else, so they have no clue.

and their problem has less to do with trucks and more to with whether they were hit too much, or not enough as a child (and also as an adult).
parents really need to find the right balance.

    Softer than puppy poop.

One might compare the softness to the supple suspension of a certain truck. :boink:

Tundra was twerking before it was popular. No shame in our game.

    To answer the OP's question...
The 2nd Gen has the most members across the 14 years of it's production. Therefore it's likely they will continue to browse the forum and contribute to the Tundra enthusiasm that has existed throughout the first and second gen runs. The 3 Gen has a problem with this, and it's not the 1st or 2nd gen's issue... It's the 3rd gen's insecurities of not being able to read a post they don't agree with and ignore or move on from it. It's not difficult to see where the issue actually lies. Get over yourselves.

THIS !!! This is why I got the GMC HD since it was CHEAPER even with 4x4 and a diesel. Truck prices are nuts. Add to the first year Tundra issues some had and that nobody could get a Tundra, let alone at sticker price.
To answer the OP I originally came to get info about the Tundra. I return to see the shit show and stay for the triggered comments.

I went in there to read about how bad of an issue that bad-boom engine problems were when I was buying. I haven't been back since and bought a 2nd gen, I could easily swing a 3rd gen, my wife wanted me to get a 3rd gen, but naahhh.

Well it’s simple really. As a 2nd gen driver it’s to be assumed that we are quite poor. As far as entertainment goes, these seats are cheap!

Rage quitting explicitly calls for anger and an emotional, immediate response.

I just calmly excused myself from the BS in the 3rd Gen forum. :)

“How do I fix this paint wear spot on my tailgate?”

“There is a recall with FIRE RISK and Toyota won’t buy back my truck!”

“I am driving a 6,500lb 4x4 Hybrid with a 3” lift and AT tires - why am I only getting 20 MPG from my downtown apartment to my office?”

Early 2023: “BREAKING NEWS: something up with the new Tundra motors!”

Mid 2024: “BREAKING NEWS: something up with the new Tundra motors!”

“Should I change my oil every 6 months? 6 weeks? 6 days? Or 6 hours? ‘Oil is cheap!’ “

“My volume knob broke and Toyota won’t buy back my truck!”

Add in the 2nd Gen trolls and the mods who don’t allow strong pornography and…well, it certainly kills the fun.
