    They said they would let me stay because I moved here to be part of my son's life. Even after getting screwed over in divorce. That little dude is now almost 19, 6'5" 250 lbs.

    Of course, there's exceptions to every rule. Seems like most of us in Eastern or Western CO hate how Denver runs the state, despite their coffers being filled by us. The Californians that move here generally add to that divide, and the mass migration here has driven housing costs up, so that's why we're not fond of them. Just my .02

    Yeah, I totally understand that point of view. Houses are still affordable in Texas. California is freakin ridiculous, so people from there are used to paying to much.

    I was thrilled with the price of gas when I moved out here. Last time I was back to my home town was 2013. Gas was over $5.00 a gallon!

    I don't blame you. Cost of living in CA is insane. Wife and I contemplated moving out of state. We are in escrow on a house right now, so it looks like Cali is where we are stayin. Colorado would be sweet for all that snowboarding we can do :D

    I was on a flight from Denver to the bay area one time and there were three guys, two in Raider jerseys and the other Broncos after a game. They were talking smack the whole flight. It was hilarious, for two hours, much longer and it would have gotten old. I'm not a football fanatic, I do love football though and root for the home team. Growing up I used to be like Minnesota Randy. I'd root for the Broncos to mess with the Raider fans.
