With my mechanic friend of mine helping me it took us about three-ish hours.

I did not use the poly bushings though for the rear shackles. If we would of installed those it'd taken a lot longer to knock/torch out the old bushings.

    Maybe someday I'll install them.

I ordered the Aluma 2.0's and the Boss Resi's in the rear with the progressive 3 leaf add a leaf pack and I'm trying to determine if I'll need shackles to maintain some rake. Anybody run the add a leafs in the rear?

That leaf pack is supposed to give a 1.5" rear lift. Guess it depends if you'll be having any weight in the bed. I have the shackles set at 1.5" and thinking of adding that leaf pack for when my GFC goes on in the fall.

Does 1.5” leafs add to the 1.5” shackles making it 3”?

I would assume so. You could always drop the shackle to the 1" hole if 3" is too much. If you're loaded up though, it may drop a half inch or so anyway.

Leer cab high topper, Toytec Aluma 2.0 kit, + 1.5 shackles + deaver 3 leaf add, SPC UCAs, SPC LCA bolt kit, 295 70 18 Revo 3 tires.
I have the Aluma 2.0 shocks front / rear, and the 3 leaf pack from toytec and their shackles set to the tallest 1.5" setting. After settling I'm sure I still have at least 3" lift in the rear. The setup is great when the truck is loaded and with a trailer hitched up.
My only complaint is that when the truck is not loaded, I have almost zero down travel potential in the rear, shocks seem fully extended when unloaded. I think the rear shocks need another 3 inches potential travel.

Where did you order the rear resis from? Toytec phased those out after the rear 2.0's came out.

Hoping to pick up my GFC in October and will probably do the progressive leaf pack and drop the shackle to the 1" setting and see how that goes. Can always change it around.

I ordered the kit about a year ago. I've been overseas and am installing it when I get back in a couple of months. I've got several goodies waiting to be installed.

I had the aluma series coil overs installed a few months back. I didn’t have the time to do it myself. Is there a way to tell that you are at the maximum 3 inch lift? Since I didn’t do the install I don’t have the measurements of before and after. Thanks for any feed back.

I have the Alumas as well and when I ordered them I asked if they came preset at 3" and they said yes. So, I just assumed that they are. After putting on my c4 bumper I'd like to see if they can adjust up another 1/4" or so.

Did you happen to take a before and after measurement from the center of your front wheel hub to the bottom of your fender?

Recently installed the 2.5 aluma’s and got 3 inches from factory setting. Went from 22” hub to fender to 25” after settling.

Looks great, I measured mine this morning. Got 24 1/2 in the front and 26 1/2 in the rear. Only have a couple thousand miles on the lift so far. I went with the Aluma 2.0s in the front and the extra leaf spring in the rear

Wonder if the extra leafs ride better than a shackle. I have the toytec shackle set on the 1” setting and I sit 25” dead level all the way around.

Digging the look! Is the shim for drivers side lean? The aluma kit reduced my lean from 3/4” to less than 1/4” but worried will return as it settles more

Adjust the coil if needed for lean correction. Using shims with the Alumas will void the warranty.

Yeah, they couldn’t correct it with the Coilovers alone. I had the same scenario and they cleaned up the last bit with a shim. I wanted level all around, they nailed it!

Looks great, my setup will be similar.
Any issues with vibes and are you running the carrier drop kit?
Wondering how the 2.0 handle washboard and at what point they would be susceptible to fade.

No carrier drop kit. And washboard wise it does pretty good. Not a long travel suspension by any means but off road I am pretty satisfied.

    Thanks,
I'd like to set mine up with about the same rake to prevent TSS errors and for towing the boat.
Not looking for long travel either, just a small lift with better overall performance. Our logging/fire road washboard can get pretty bad due to poor maintenance.
Have to decide on whether to go with the preset 1 1/2" front and a Coachbuilder +1" (.625" lift) shackle or 1 3/4" front and 3/4" Total Chaos shackle. Tires are on a 2 month backorder, suspension 3 month, so plenty of time to come up with a plan.
