You are correct, I have heard of issues with many brands. Like you say, that is what the warranty is for. I don't mean to take a jab at Falken, just something to be aware of. Overall I know of a lot of people that love these tires, myself included.

Switched to the Wildpeaks from KO2s this go around. They are awesome. Great in the snow and on ice.

The Wildpeaks, specifically, are sourced/made out of Thailand, Japan, USA, and in rare cases China. The good news is that we are getting our Buffalo, NY plant to a high enough production point where we can start seeing more American made tires in the North American market.

We do have plants in Brazil and Turkey. However, those plants are dedicated to their respective markets as logistically it makes no sense to ship to the states. The exception would be if a vehicle manufacturer produces a vehicle and we are OE for that vehicle and the vehicle manufacturer ships it stateside.

Just got some installed today! Thanks for all the input between 295/70 and 275/70. Ended up going with 275/70 and super happy! Excited to see how it performs in the north Idaho winter.

no spacers no adjustments no rubbing. Psi 38 from discount tire. Might up to 40psi after reading this thread

I wanted the Falkens and looked everywhere for a deal, but couldn't find anything. I had to settle on BFG Ko2s instead. They've been great so far, but I'd prefer that the sidewalls extend more past the bead. I'm sure my rims will get curb rash at some point, thanks to the better half.

Finally got the truck on these tires, super impressed with how quiet they are, stuck with 285/75r18 with same load index of 129 but it rode so much smoother too compare to the Yokohama, I'm a convert now.

Still plenty of tread left on my 37's @ 35kmi. Daily driver. 5kmi. rotations.

    I'm confident they'll make their claimed 55kmi.

Plan on buying another set. Currently priced at $1800/4 last I checked. Paid $1500/4 in Nov 19'

Just got mine put on this week. Looking forward to getting them in the dirt. About $1500 with certificates from discount. They have gotten expensive. My 4Runner ones were half that 3 years ago or so

Lowest setting on fox 2.5 DSC, it's quivalent of Westcott pro kit, I've had this size since day 1 while stock, imo it's the golden size.

I paid $167 a corner once upon a time for these tires in Load E 285/70/17 for my Tacoma when these tires were new to the market. They were a new name in the game so untested... But at the price point it was a no brainer!

I had issues with Cooper XLTs kind of like that. Never balance right, squirrelly on highway, tons of weight to try and balance. One got a sidewall crack just above where rim mounts, more balance issues. Last time I went back for another balance DT said they would give me full credit for them to get something else. So ran Coopers for 9k miles, never was right and got my money back. Had DT install Wildpeaks and they have been good.

It happens, plenty of people love the cooper xlts, clearly I had a bad batch.

Was really on the fence between the wild peaks and Cooper AT3 XLT. ended up going with the coopers this time little less expensive had some friends that liked them better... 275/70/18s. so far so good don't have many miles on them yet.

Thank you for this information! I checked Wally World and they had the 295/70/18 Falken Wildpeaks listed for $305.18 whereas DT has it listed for $354. So, I called DT and talked with an amazing guy there that not only price matched but still honored my military discount. All said, I got the set for $1265 shipped to my front door. These will be replacing the stock 285/65/18 Wildpeaks on my new TRD Pro. The gentleman at DT said he literally just purchased a set of these tires for his truck as well, and most of the guys at his DT location in Phoenix are running this tire after trying out most of the competition. This validated my decision as I have never owned the Falken's but I have owned the BFG AT/KO2's, Cooper Discoverer AT3, and Ridge Grapplers. So fingers crossed.

I ordered a set myself. What tire size did you end up getting. I got it for the same price roughly as you from DT. I ended up ordering 295/70/18. Hopefully no rubbing.

Like you, I ordered the 295/70/18's as well. On my Pro, I can verify there is zero rubbing in all directions. Actually, I think a true 35" would have fit with no rubbing as well, but I am happy with the 295's as my speedo is dead on now.
