I see a lot of different kits out there on Amazon, 10 piece, 12 piece kits... Who's got the most reliable LED's? I've read reviews that say some bulbs don't fit right or flicker after a few weeks. I'm not into wasting money and I believe you get what you pay for. What's the story with the reverse bulbs? Why don't they fit right?somebody point me in the right direction for some quality interior white LED's
Also wondering long term, do they burn hot? (Don't know much about them) do they discolor the plastic lens over time?

There is another kit (12 piece) just like that one that comes with the reverse tail lights, supposedly they don't work for fit on the 3rd gen Tundras.

Ya, 3rd gen reverse light bulbs are different than the 2nd gen ones, strangely enough.

I was checking out www.superbrightleds.com and their prices didn't seem too bad. Seemed like a lot of variety as far as brightness (lumens), and a few with different color options. Seems like this will be one of my last things to do, as it's not really high on my list yet.

I like my sylvania 194 LEDs from advance auto. 12.00 each, but super bright and reliable. Had them over a year with no issues.

Follow up: Installed LEDs today. Used 7. Dome, map, and 3rd brake/cargo lights. Much better. Cheap mod.

Brighter than stock. Before installing these LEDs I had to use my reading glasses if I had to read anything at night with stock bulbs. I brought a calibrated light(lumen)meter from work to measure the difference. New LEDs were 43 lumens brighter. Not a huge difference but enough so I don't need my reading glasses.

Were they the CREE lamps? Those I have found to be the brightest.

I've seen really expensive led lights for sale on headlight revolutions site, I watch their videos as instructional a but the lights are way too expensive. I've gone with the pilot brand led lights I find at pep boys, they work pretty good don't know how much brighter they are than stock but they definitely look cleaner and crisper than the stock dull yellow bulbs.

Mike, what LED's have you purchased from here and what is your experience with them?
I looked over their selection and there are just so many options it's hard to know exactly what to get for your specific application, what works best what's brightest, what LED's to use in which case will cause hyperflash or trip the system computer into thinking your bulbs are out.

I purchased these yesterday for the front driver and passenger foot wells, they plug in to the existing foot well light socket, reviews sound good and they seem to put out a good amount of light.

Has anyone else ever heard of these or tried them? I found them on another forum and people there are running these in fours.

I saw that they made these after i had already wired up my own to the front and rear foot wells.

Experience with them is perfect. I have ordered twice from them and they are ON THE BALL.

Interior white go with 5000k led light. (more toward sun light plus bright as hell) Really depends on what you are wanting to light up ;).

If you want to get rid of hyperflash do it the correct way. Get a led flasher relay any auto part stores sell them( autozone or advance, pep boys). Pop out your old one put the led flasher in no more worries even if you go back to oem bulbs.

Do they make a led flasher relay yet for the 15's?

They should toyota doesnt change that .

Edit unless they did a complete redesign of power. they did

    http://www.tundratalk.net/forums/tu...sher-relay-modification-led-turn-signals.html

this does look like 20 min job can save you money but if you dont feel good about getting into it wait and see if a led module comes out or if the 2014 can cross over to it depending on what year you have they might already be on hand.
