Who's got dogs? Post your pup!

I love seeing all the pics of Tuco growing up. Reminds me of how it was years ago. Dogs are gifts, but Pugs are just something else to me. Thank you for sharing.

 

Nice! Our Freddy's (Burger chain) will offer a "pup cup" of the frozen custard if you have a pup along.

 

Hes getting big so fast man! Up to 14lbs already and he still has until October before he is full size from what I understand.

 

yeah, Pugs are usually about 18-20 lbs for healthy weight. Stella sits at about 21.3 most times, and even on diet food (science diet) she just won't go below 21 lbs. She used to be almost 23 lbs, years back. Too many treats.

 

Our vet told us 25 pounds was the heaviest she wants to see our Australian terrier. However, he doesn't really get treats, doesn't eat all that much and is stocky/ muscular, rather than fat.

Oh, he is! He does like digging in our trash cans if we don't watch him though. Aside from that, he's close to perfect. As they say, "we don't deserve dogs"!

 

With that much love no telling how long she'll survive. We spoil ours to make up for the ones who can't be spoiled.

 

That is heartbreaking! We love our pups more than some of our own family members! But I agree with @Moon Puppy - Love can extend their lives!

 

Here is our Martha on the camp table, where she is not allowed but ventures to every time we turn our backs.

She is slowly getting used to the water but still doesn't love it. We were able to get her in the canoe for one very small lap around a bay. She has a friend coming out for a visit today, who loves the water, so that should help. She will gladly venture in and swim when there is a dog to play with. It's only our second camping trip and being around water and we have only had her a little over a month, so all in time.

We are hoping she turns into a water dog or at least
comfortable around it and will go in to cool off.

Had an AUSSIE named Buddy, lost him 2 yrs ago. Loved him ,miss him, looking for another, Oakleys best friend He was ok with cats and not much of a Bird dog .
