Who's got dogs? Post your pup!

Yep...used a lot of cow bones to make broth and other things.
You can buy em at grocery stores split lengthwise to bake em and eat the marrow.
Very Tasty!!!

 

Even on the weekend getaway, there’s no getting around sleeptime after breakfast, which was after sleeptime.
It’s Mia’s the pittie’s birthday, she’s 10.

 

Hates car rides, but doesn't mind a boat.

 

Yours too? Mine likes to turn away from the window and just waits until it's all over.

 

He crawls into mama's lap and trembles the entire car ride.

 

Same! I don't remember him being traumatized or anything while drivinf. I am gentile on the roads.

 

Ours got carsick a few times as a puppy, so I suppose he figures car ride means feeling crappy. Doesn't puke anymore though.

My poor attempt at being facetious. That is an obviously well-cared-for pup enjoying life.

The most dangerous breed of em all:

 

Y'all may think I'm joking, but I'm only partially joking. Benni had the body of a small terrier, but heart of a lion, and the brain of a 3rd grader.
Benni would pick fights with dogs 5x her size, regardless of whether or not the other dog wanted to fight. She killed rats and opossums, chased cats and squirrels for fun. She would try to bite children if they tried to pet her. Luckily I was always close enough to intervene, no kids were bit. After a few close calls, I just told kids they couldn't pet her because she was a bad dog.
Anyone bouncing a ball, or riding a bike, roller skates, skateboard, scooter, or even running were fair game in her demented world. But she was also a sweetheart when she wanted to be. I wish I had her DNA tested to find out what breeds she was before she passed. The vet told me she was a jack-rat terrier. I suspect she had some dachshund too, because of her long torso.

 

A few from this past weekend's camping trip...

 

Dogs are only put in kennels with the door closed when we leave the house for an extended time.
Well, Milo (on the left) has the door closed and Maverick has his door open, although I doubt he ever leaves it..
When I'm sitting at my desk, they usually hang out in the kennels with the doors open.



After surgery 3 weeks ago, I'm finally walking them one at a time.
I need two arms/hands to walk them both.
Right now, they're telling me it's time to walk.


This was watching the Indy race while the wife was out shopping..

 

Just got home from Billie's favorite swimming hole. Teufel doesn't like swimming as much so he just waits for her chest deep.

 

Saw this and got a good chuckle.

Monday was boat day for our two older ones. This guy loves a boat day.



Our blue nose was really excited to get on the boat but once we got on the lake she seemed to be mostly annoyed we made her leave the living room couch. To be fair it was busy so the boat was rocking a lot.
