My baby girl I adopted this year. The guy who rescued her and adopted her to us said she loves to ride in his truck. Now that she has a Tundra she really loves it!

After a 5 mile hike Billie is beat. I'd give her an hour before she is ready to get geared up again though. Being a chocolate lab I'm pretty sure she's naturally caffeinated.

 

Picked up Rudy today, Vizsla #4. My 18 month old Tank has the same mother and father from a previous litter. Rudy was the runt, has some white spots, and 6 months old… Breeder just wanted him placed in a good home.

Winnie is a menace at chasing the cats but one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met!!! Got this picture the other day.

 

Are you working at stopping the chasing? I'm asking because my blue heeler puppy is a menace also. The wife is a little upset about it. If so, has anything worked for you?

 

yes we try to employ distraction with positive reinforcement…..it is working. Once she locks onto the cat we distract her with a toy and if she doesn’t react to the cat running away we give her a small reward (bacon treats). She is still a puppy (10 months old) and she really just wants to play. If we aren’t successful distracting her the cats have no problem hissing and swatting at her. Problem is she thinks that’s playing…..

I want our next dog to be a heeler, but I know how much work they are and they need a job to keep them busy. We also have a short wall with our neighbors. Growing up our blue heeler Pepper, could clear our 6’ block wall

she got to use it this past weekend, went camping/fishing

she wasn’t too happy we didn’t let her swim after getting setup, it was about start raining soon so she had wait.

 

Yeah they have A TON of energy. I'm really working on different activities for outlets for that energy. He has a really cool personality

We ended up buying a new Carlson as Martha was doing zoomies one day and decided to launch off the pet bed, before our camping trip last week and tore the fabric.

Another Carlson was ordered. We also bring a "Costco dog cooling bed" camping and decided to put it on the Carlson bed. She loved the combo and spent the evenings around the fire on it before sleeping on the bed with us in the trailer.

I don’t post Mia on here a lot, since she’s the old dog that spends most of her day avoiding our kid. She looks pretty good for almost 12 years old.

 

She's one of my faves in this thread.
