Who's got dogs? Post your pup!

I am so sorry that you had to go through this, the hurt is unbelievable sometimes. You did the most caring thing you could, I wish we could treat humans this kindly. Your doggie is resting comfortably now on the other side, and trust me when I say is looking down on you.

 

So very sorry for your pain right now. You gave her a great life, and that is what truly matters. Cherish the memories - they live on forever in our hearts.

 

We had our lab ridgeback cross creamated. It is an easy feeling to look at her urn and reminisce about her. Even after she is gone she still brings us happiness in a soothing way. I hope you find that peace with your pup.

 

Very sorry y'all had to go through this. You will see Marley again on the other side! Until then.....know you gave that pup the best life a pup could have and showed the compassion required to make that difficult decision at the end. Again.....sorry for your loss!

The hardest part is she was here the entire time we lived in this house and it feels empty now. I'm just used to seeing her, hearing her etc.
It is a reminder of all the dogs I have lost going back to my first in the mid 70s, she's the 10th. Shit I'm in double digits!

 

I agree about the house. Working from home doesn't help either.

 

It's hitting me harder than usual, I guess because of the current situation in the world and that due to the situation I spent more time with her than normal (which I'm grateful for)

 

Maisy got a new corgi friend, Millie.

I wanted our next dog to be a boxer, but the German Shepard mix has been pretty cool, a sloppy noodle, is what we call him.

 

Got the box for her ashes, now just need the ashes.
Going to cut the white off the top & bottom and get a background. (And center the picture better)

 

Sorry for your loses. I know the feeling, as I had to put my husky down in November. It's never easy and it's best for the pup to be put down easy instead of suffering. My heart goes out to you both.

 

@e30cabrio Sorry to hear about Marley, loosing a best friend isn’t easy, nor should it be. The empty feeling in the house is the worst.
