Who's got dogs? Post your pup!

Mia, our pittie needed a buddy after our chihuahua died a few weeks ago. She and my wife were devastated. We got a new little chihuahua for our anniversary today. His name is Zack.

 

Great Fall day!… The boys didn’t like having to sit for the camera though…..

 

So... this happened.


We have been wanting to get a friend for Tuco. Yesterday my wife spotted a rehome add and called them. They had 2 females they wanted to rehome and a story about why. We told them we can only take one.

We went to meet them. She's the same age as Tuco, 10 days younger, but she's only 12lbs (Tuco is 26lbs). The more questions we asked the more I got the sense that the lady was breeding females. She said this one had a litter but it went really rough, so she doesn't recommend breeding her. Well, no crap she's tiny! The more we talked the less I believed her, but we wanted a doggie and this girl needed to get away from that house. She's a little damp in that pic, we just gave her a very needed a bath. We have her scheduled to be spayed and have a lot of work to do on training. She's absolutely wild, doesn't know any commands but seems okay on bathroom habits.

Her new name hasn't been decided yet. My wife likes Coco, but I said Chola, she is a fearless thug.

What a gentleman right? Gave up his bed.

Definitely has that guilty/nervous/shifty look. But I think she just really wanted the rawhide that the puppy had out of frame.

Here is Zeus we adopted him from Husky rescue, he was the only non husky. (We didn’t name him)

 

Honey got in a chair she shouldn't be in but she's just so dang cute I couldn't make her move.

 

This is the “Don’t care there is no power, daylight is fading and the rain is sideways from the high winds. You need to take me for a walk” look.

 

I get that look daily.

 

My dog won't even walk to the end of the deck if it's too windy, cold or rainy.

Just spent three hours at the beach. Running and playing fetch. The dude is like an exhausted 4 year-old that won’t give up and is nearly sleep walking.

 

Anybody like croissants?


For some reason Tuco likes to put his face in my shoe/slipper and pass out. Maybe the scent is sleep inducing?

 

My husky used to do this all the time. And it was anyone's foot. My sister said he had a foot fetish.
