Who's got cats? Post your puss!

We will certainly adopt another kitten that needs a loving home. We adopted Bear after he was abandoned by his mother when he was 3 weeks old. We have no idea why she abandoned him.

New batch of foster cats. Momma "Ducky" had her 8 babies last Tuesday.

 

As you know we lost our sweet Onyx a week ago to renal failure. Since her passing the other cat, Mocha, has been roaming the house calling out for Onyx. It is a special meow. It is really sad.

My wife found three adult cats on the west side of Phoenix that need to be re-homed because their elderly owners passed this past Wednesday. That couple's daughter has a house full of kittens and cannot handle more.

We drove out there and let the cats pick us. I brought the pet carrier in and opened the door. This cat climbed right in. He told us he was the one.

Everyone - meet Linus. A 7 year old male. He's good natured and is adapting well and trying to get to know is new home and Mocha.

I know that pitiful lonely call for a lost mate, sorry for your loss. I also know that time and some interesting power moves will happen with the beasts and all will be well. Welcome Linus!!!!
My current boy of like 14 years? Ringo(taking to the vet on Wednesday for some pooping issues) was chosen for me by the lady who I worked with, but when I came over with the crate, like you, I opened it. And he immediately jumped up from the ridiculously cute kitten pile, and got into the carrier! And talked soooo much the entire drive home!

 

Saw these cuties at the vet today!
My truck got hit while we were in the exam room, thank Ala for steel bumper, no damage to mine, but the person who hit and ran lost a entire light for sure!

anyways, Ringo has early stages of kidney failure, good and bad depending what the follow up blood work holds. I got a crap ton of samples to try and see what he will eat/like and recommendations on fiber supplements to help everything else “flow” better. Hes a old boy-14, so it’s not uncommon.

Sorry the visit was less than stellar, though. Hope Ringo does well and you have many more years together.

 

Thanks, the next blood test should sort of create a baseline of progression, so that might be a stressful day for sure.
He already shot down the first sample food, but he’s picky, so I’ll give it a few hours before I try again. Luckily they gave me like 15 different brands and flavors to try out!

The crazy brothers just turned 15 weeks old and found their new favorite place to play and to bring toys. Wife was not as amused as I was.

 

Our cat Cheddar recently and unexpectedly passed away last month so we decided to get a new kitty because of the great experience we had with him. Here is our new kitty named Pepper!

This is Frank - he is my wife’s shadow. We adopted a bonded pair a few years back. His sister Margaret is my daughters best friend and rarely leaves her room. I never was a cat person but I must admit they’re sweet and hilarious.
