Who's got cats? Post your puss!

Found this little guy in my barn. No parents or siblings around. We've had a lot of thunderstorms lately.

4/5wk old? chocolate point Siamese. Mildly feral. We've had him for 36hrs and he's eating out of our hand and purring a lot.

We'll foster him for now and see how it goes.

 

He likes to steal zip ties when he’s in the garage.

Another boy and his cat . Sammy (the cat) is an almost 5 year old super floofy Siberian mix. Looks fat here but it's all fur.

We have two floofy cats. Duct tape on clothes before leaving the house is a way of life around here.

 

Does anyone else collar their cat? Ringo always looked cute with a collar and a bell, the bell is lost, but I really like how he looks with a collar, even though it’s hard to see from above with his black fur. Dali is too prancy 24/7 for bell and collar, and it would mess up her bug & Roach catching game.

 

Are they inside cats, or do they go outside also?

 

All four of our cats won't wear a collar of any kind. They rip it right off. We don’t worry about it though because they NEVER go outside. They aren't even interested in going outside.

 

Indoor cats only, I cherish my kitties, and coyotes run wild and free here

Wife and I would like to keep him.

Depends on our senior dogs/ him getting along.

They've killed feral cats in the past on our property.

Don't want to subject the little guy to that.

He's got a vet appointment on Friday. Once he's squared away we'll see.

We already have a line of friends willing to take him. Whatever the outcome he's better off than when we found him.
We like the name Newton.

No, not rescues even though we were looking into it. Just some fate it seems, as my wife worked with someone who had a litter at the same time we were still contemplating the possibility, after just losing our two cats a few Months ago. Its never an easy decision.

Thank you, I had to convince the wife we weren't just callously replacing our cats we've had for almost 17 years, but just adding to the family.

After losing our two cats a few Months ago we weren't sure we would ever do this again. But the house was way too quiet for our taste, and sometimes things just fall into place for reasons we don't fully understand.

So today we welcomed this brother and sister combo into our home, meet Ruby & Finn.

 

Excellent! Kittens are perfect little terrorists. So much fun!
