    She also plays catch. Damn cat also has an Instagram account with over 600 followers. The gf set it up as a joke/experiment.

    We were never cat people - but recently built on acreage next to hundreds of acres of forest - and it was a must. I was going through $20 of glue mouse traps a month, it was gross.
    Picked up Piper as a kitten - who was a barn cat. She fixed the mice problem once she was about 5 months old. We’d always let her in at night because of Coyotes. Didn’t see a mouse for 6 months straight (besides her eating them).
    We went on vacation and mistakenly left her outside.
    I could see/hear her on my cameras one night meowing loudly wanting in the house (calling in coyotes) and then never saw her again. Kids were pretty upset. The sad part was she had just turned 1yr old and had a litter of 5 kittens a few months prior. We gave them all away for free, then we were catless the next week.

    We just picked up this guy - Theo.
    It’s pretty obvious he’s not a barn cat and won’t be anything like Piper was.
    Piper even as a kitten was super sketchy outside and was very aware of her surroundings.
    This guys parents must have been lazy indoor house cats.
    I don’t think he will last a few hours outside our house.

    Mountain lions have been very active in Boulder. No hunting, plenty of pets for food, and people building like crazy in the mountains create this situation.

    There’s an award winning photo of a cat on a porch in Boulder. I’ll see if I saved it.

    Our bluepoint ragdoll, does not scratch anybody when you handle her, an inherit trait. Flops when you pick her up, pushes on your face no claws if she doesn't like you (you end up getting pink eye lol)

    Very, does this bowing when she greets you. We used to have a Bengal, also didn't scratch people. They're 1/5 wild asian tree cat and have leopard spots, she lived to 15. My wife is into expensive cats, I'm fine with a stray, they're free goddamit, I end up liking them. Miss our husky though, she passed away a few years ago, good running partner, sorry, this is a cat thread.

    Dang...we have a similar problem but not that bad. We can hunt them but can't use dogs anymore which has caused the population to grow exponentially, same with the bears.
