Well, I missed it by one day. We have a trio of black cats ~ two of them are foster kids and the adult, Buddy, is ours.

I'm told by folks in the pet adoption world that the black cats are among the most difficult to find homes for.

Trust me when I say, they all have unique personalities regardless of gender or color.

 

One of our cats is black and she has the personality of the black cat that I had when I was a kid, bitchy. Funny story, my daughter called me one day to tell me that the cat wanted inside. The problem was she had a snake in her mouth. I didn't believe my daughter so I made her test me a picture, she was telling the truth.

We have a black cat convention going on right now. One adult of our own and two foster kittens.

I think Chewy.com will give you a discount on your next order if you send them a picture of your cat(s) in a Chewy box. In fact, it should say that somewhere on the box as well.
Your Buddy is awesome! Our Bear, also a black rescue cat, does some of the same stuff your Buddy does.

Your little Buddy looks very similar to our little Bear. It also looks like Buddy is just as spoiled as Bear is.

Thanks. These two are the youngest and have bonded very well. The other night, Ally was on the couch and Jack came up and snuggled up with her, then let her lay her head on him like a pillow. They slept like that for an hour…

And yes, ball is life. She lost her shit yesterday when we wouldn’t throw it because it was a full on downpour

Sammy our 4-ish year old Siberian mix. Likes car rides to pick up my son and just laying around with his hoomans. Has enough floof for 5-7 full size adult cats.

Coming up on 5 years old this summer and he still loves going for rides in the truck (or my wife's SUV as well). Just explores the area a bit but mostly just lays on the seat or looks out the window. Also posting his glamour shot my wife took of him in our bed.

He's a weirdo and acts more like a dog than a cat but I guess that's normal for Siberians. Also doesn't look like it in the photos but that's 15 pounds of cat and still growing.

 

He is a great looking cat! He's certainly happy and loved!

But yes, we love him dearly and we think he kinda likes us and would prefer us to be alive

 

Meet barny! He's an ass. You are only aloud to pet his head or neck otherwise he bites you! He also hides around corners and bites your ankles as you walk by. I would have got rid of him but I think the shelter would put him down because he's not very nice, plus my daughter would kill me! He's only a year old so he'll be around for a while.
