Who's got cats? Post your puss!

This is our fourth rescue kitty. We never buy our pets because, in our opinion, there are simply too many dogs and cats out there that need a good home. It also seems that the rescued animals know that they have been rescued.
The top photo is Bear when we got him. He's a bottle baby and is an awesome little dude. He's super playful and incredibly loving too. He has grown up to be a big boy. The key fob in front of him is the same fob in both photos for reference.
I'll post up photos of the other three when I can find the photos.

 

These are our two girls that are my introduction into the world of cats. My wife loves all animals but is terribly allergic to dogs so we cannot have dogs.
The top photo is Onyx. I named her upon us deciding to take her in. Had I known her better when I named her I would have named her Modem because she is very vocal and beeps and squeaks every time she moves. She has a very loud purr and the tiniest meow.
She is a big girl and has long flowing fur with a giant tail. She is sitting next to a vase of long stem roses that were on the counter.

The smaller tortoise shell girl is Mocha and is a daddy's girl. She's a Maine Coon and is the ruler of the house. She knows that she is beautiful and only wants to love. She is my first cat ever and is a wonderful first cat experience for me. She has made me a cat guy! I cannot sit down anywhere in the house without Mocha being with me.

The photo with both cats eating out of the bowl (they both got in trouble for this because that was supposed to be my wife's lunch) shows how much bigger Onyx is to Mocha.

 

Last but not least, this is Suzie. We rescued her from a bus yard where they park school buses. She had so much grease on her that we thought she was black and grey until we gave her three baths. We had to use Dawn dishwashing liquid to get all of the grease off of her. She is a cute little calico that has the calico personality - a little touched and temperamental.
This little girl took to my father-in-law in a big way. He passed away in March 2018 and this little girl was devastated! She was confused, angry, grief-stricken, and just wanted to be left alone. She is just now getting over the loss of her designated human and had begun interacting with Bear and the rest of the humans in the house. She is finally allowing us to cuddle with her again. It took some patience with her but we've slowly been able to love her back to good mental health.

 

This is just another then and now photo of our little boy Bear. Same step and position. He's a little bigger now.

Oh man my parents had an evil cat growing up who did that with the TP then he'd hide and when you'd go to wipe he'd run at you, too funny.

She is beautiful!

 

This cat showed up a few days ago. Posted to our neighborhood and other social media locations, but no one claimed him. Took to the vet to scan for microchip, but nothing. The vet said this is the first polydactyl manx he has seen in his 30 year career. Means an extra toe on every foot and born without a tail. We took him out to my parents as they are down to 1 cat that is over 10 years old.

Buddy's an active cat and he'll typically get himself into a lot of trouble unless he has something to do. That's the challenge for us ~ keeping him stimulated and out of mischief.

 

I walked into the living room last night and Jack Jack had snuggled up with Ally on the couch...

 

These are Nino & Mackie. Both shelter rescues.

 

The fur kids have a routine. After being fed it's time to sun themselves and warm up a bit. Here's Sally enjoying the morning sunshine in the upstairs office doorway.
