#12 welding lens works, but now we're all using auto-dark hoods.

Just went outside to see the eclipse through some dark filters. Pretty cool. But now I understand why they're keeping kids inside. I got curious and took a quick glimpse for a split second and now I'm seeing green. I'm such a dumbass.

Grab a collander and hold it about waist high. You'll see lots of suns.

NASA's website has got some good feeds from different locations. The one in KY was the longest totality and it was gorgeous. Saw all the flares and everything.

North Central Wisconsin. 600mm manual focus camera lens. The clouds actually helped.
I've got some others I'm processing right now. I'll put up a few more later.

    Funny story though....

Camped up high at Cloud Cap on Mt Hood.

Met some peeps from CO and drank a beer
Drank liquor and at food with others from CO at a bar up here. He's moving back to Breckenridge, looking for a job, and I'm hiring that area right now!!

Hiked up to the ridge below Hood

Met a guy from Asheville, where I used to live.
His name is Mike Schroeder, my name is Mark Schrader, he used to live with an ex girlfriend of a college buddy of mine.
He knows the charity food promotional guy for Widespread Panic, Josh Stack, who I used to live with.
Mike lives in Hood River and I'm going to stay with him on Thursday and Friday and might start working for him in sales (if his boss decides to hire me) for a product that has been utilized by professional sports teams to assist in rehab. His company is blowing up and they're hiring in CO to sell. It might be a long shot, but it's worth an interview on Friday.

Anyway, long story, but I had no eclipse glasses and he had an extra pair...BOOM!! Eclipse viewed safely and met another new friend.

It's been an eventful 18 hours!
@4x4_Angel look what you missed :p
    Just kiddin....your girls come first:thumbsup:

Not really anything to get excited about here either. I think peak here in Green Bay was around 1:15 but was also only about 70%.
