I have two empties just to the right of the steering wheel on the dash, along with these the plugs for something. I assume the hose leading up to a sensor is maybe temperature for climate control?

Nope, sorry. The temp sensor at the end of the tube belongs plugged into the area with the "slats" on the dash near where my the right leg ends up under the dash.
