I try to avoid Amarillo at all cost but it seems like every time I go I see him! Your like damn here comes a badass tundra from the front and then bam. Disappointment

Yes. I’m either doing 295/70r18 or 285/70r18. I had toyo RT on my last truck but thought I would switch it up. Plus they are a little cheaper and basically the same tire

Oh ok. I looked at the AT3 but haven’t looked at the RT much. I’ll check those out. Did you like them? I’m on the fence still. I had to jeopardize the ride quality. I’m not worried about road noise or losing 1 mpg. It’s not a daily driver for me. But I want a good looking tire, that performs well around the farm when I need it and doesn’t weigh a ton.

Yup loved them pretty much. Not the best tire in wet or icy conditions. I would say the RG has the same tread with more aggressive side walls. The toyo at3 and Cooper at3 are also on my list

What size are you thinking Jeff? Stock size? Or 285/70/18

Most likely 275/70. Basically stock width but 1 inch taller.

I know we should not feel the difference in weight but they only come in 10ply that size. I was thinking the same on that size. If you stay stock size the tire is less weight. But like I said I don’t think we should feel a difference.

I spotted a few really nice Tundras today. One south of Childress and one in Wellington.
