Who has an Active Front Spoiler? Post a pic of your truck !!!

Did they stop the spoiler with 2023 TRDs? I just got my 2023 limited crewmax 6'5". It started with the TRD premium package, I had the 3" trd lift installed before pickup. They insist it came without it and the TRD package deletes it but I see several limited TRDs here with it. I'm honestly just annoyed that I don't have the fancy spoiler or tow hooks as they insist they couldn't do tow hooks because of the spoiler.

NO active front spoiler.

I asked my dealer and they told me it’s because mine came with the TRD skid plate. Not sure I believe them… Seems like a sour deal to pay extra for a skid plate and lose the front spoiler with no $ credit. I contacted Toyota customer service for configuration clarification and they basically confirmed mine didn’t have it (I could see that myself) but then just directed me back to my dealership.

 

I don't believe them and that's because I have the TRD premium package but because toyota refuses to let you pick anything yourself I was stuck with just had the plastic POS junk they call an "off road skid plate" so on my truck this was not the case for sure. I live near RCI and picked up one I like better for less anyway but yes, basically they saved money and gave us nothing. There is nothing about the TRD skid plate that interferes with it and for sure not the tiny plastic trash that came on my truck.

 

What tires are on the SR5

 

On my SR5 i had Bridgestone Dueler on the stock sr5 wheels, on the new sr5 premium offroad that is inbound is Michelin and on mine with limited 20's I have Falken Wildpeak ATW3's.

 

I just pickup my SR5 TRD off road premium. It has the aluminum TRD skid plate factory installed. It also does not have the active air dam.

I love that front air dam. Damn I wish I got it. I think it makes a world of difference. Some of our F-150 have a front air dam.
Sometimes when off-roading in the F-150, we may lose an air dam, I can feel a significant turbulence difference driving on the highway.
Especially during very windy conditions. I for one wish I could add this feature!

 

Did you do those Grill mods on your own or order them from somewhere?

 

Anyone need an active spoiler? I’m about to take mine off to put on my covert CBI bumper and winch

 

I know this has been said but I have a 2022 4x4 SR5 TRD OR Premium. No spoiler. Was hoping it had one originally, if it was for fuel mileage.
