Modern auto extras made that. They were considering production but stopped responding about it.

I spent a lot of time on here looking and checking out different rack ideas and options. But ended up having a co-worker help me out and build my own customer aluminum rack. I added a fishing rod holder on the inside as well as hi-lift jack mount and a set of recovery tracks on the outside and a set of rotopax.

Nice. It obviously wraps over to the bed rails, how did you get the tonneau cover to go over it?

Its just a roll up cover so i can change the width of it. I made it to fit in between the rails of the rack and attached it to the rack instead of the bed.

@xtyfighterx Hey quick question: are you able to fully open the window in your RTT closest to the cab? In other words are the Relentless Tall bed bars "tall enough?"

I can open it. It just barley rubs on the cab I usually put a cloth down so no scratches happen. If I moved my Tent back maybe 5in then it would clear I just like things centered.

TRDLIFE, can you explain what you mean when you say you can change the width of it? Are you physically cutting it down or is it just wrinkled when installed?

Thanks! I would love to have a tonneau cover with my BAMF rack. I’d prefer a hard cover but would settle with a soft one for now.

Well like on my access cover, there are 2 bars that mount down the side of the bed, abd at the back where the cover part is connected, there is a slide rail all the way accross so I i could squeeze it in about 1/2 enough to fit in between the rack. and at the end of each side rail, and trimmed it down a little bit for the access to still fit and lock in. Ill take some pictures here in a bit for ya. and I too would've like to do a hard cover, but they don't have as much play to fit in between the rack rails and the angle on mine I cant fold it up. a retractable one would be perfect if you found on that was the right width.

Oh man that would be great! Much appreciated for sure. I have talked with RETRAX and supposedly they do custom work often but I know it would be a pretty penny. I am in the same boat as I would love to have a retractable unit with my full bed rack as I feel that gives the best of both worlds.

Other routes I have considered that do not provide any weather protection but could prevent some people from grabbing gear out of the back would be building a lockable metal hatch (basically replicate the rack design to enclose over the tailgate and have it on lift pistons like a standard camper shell). And use a custom “raingler” net/webbing to enclose the sides but it still be see through. I think that would look cool and make it a lot tougher for people to steal cases of camping gear, parts, etc.

    Does that make any sense?

Yea I see what you saying and that would be a pretty cool idea too. So I took a couple pics of the corners where I trimmed and the slide rail I was talking about to change the width a little bit. It is a tight fit but is does work.
