    Flux capacitor!
Rago Fabrication makes a perfect corner bracket for installing to the stock bed rails.

Nice! I have the BAMF corner tie down brackets so I'll probably mount to those

Just bought a Rola roof rack that ill be mounting in the bed from some cross bars.

In looking for clamping ideas for accessories. Ill have a few pods to mount and thinking of the usual like shovel, axe and some other goodies.

Anyone recommend some good attachments? The Rola rack uses round tubing. From 3/4", 1" to max dia of 1.5"

Most rotopaks come with an attachment bracket but you can purchases a locking mechanism too. You might need to purchase hardware but you can attach to just about any rack

Quick fists are a great option for ease and looks pretty good

You keep speaking my language -- I plan on adding a locking mech to my rotopax mounts so I can leave them on the truck more often.

They're expensive but gives you peace of mind. I have one on mine and wish I had lockin mech for all attachments.

Appears most Quick Fist utilize a flat mounting surface, I'm looking to mount to tubes. I guess it just involves more to get it to mount.

NVM - little research, I have more ideas than rack space.

Check out axis alloys. They make a nice quick fist mount for round bars

Yeah there's plenty of options I spent some time looking on Google for some pictures and stuff like that and it looks like the FJ Cruiser guys have come up with quite a bit of different ideas and Mounting Solutions for mounting quickfists another accessories to their roof rack

Agreed on the price being a bit much. I've been digging around trying to finalize my set up now that bars have arrived. I really like the clean look and they have so many options it seemed like a good thing to share. I think I'll probably order their quickfist clamps and do my own thing on the rest. Plug and play is worth a little extra cash on occasion.

They look really solid. If I had bars I might use some. I bought the quick fist multipack for $30 but they fit my flat rack perfectly. I have some odd angled pieces I'm trying to figure something out for

Yeah depending on my cross bar design, I might do something like you have what I have panel running lengthwise there.

If you did you could custom drill for lots of options. I didn't have to use any other attachments but spent probably .30 on each bundle of hardware. Easy peasy

You guys are going to think that I suck. Went with a tonneau for the back of mine. My truck is so tall I can't reach over the side of it anyway and have to go through the tail gate to get anything out of the bed. Ordered the Under Cover Ultra Flex. Will see how it works out.

Trying to figure out mounting height.

I dont want it too high, but I feel too low will hinder ease of use/functionality of the bed.

    Right now between a relentless style cross bar or the Yakima Bedrock;
    http://www.autoanything.com/truck-racks/yakima-bedrock-truck-bed-base-rack-system

For those who use the racks in addition to loading the bed itself, what are your thoughts about cross bar height?

I think I have some 2x4 laying around that I will probably use to mimic mounting height before I pull the trigger.

What do you want to use the bars for?
I'd say go with the relentless. I just got a set of the tall bars and I'm super happy I did. I used a set of bed height Thule bars with inno feet for a night. Worked fine but the lower height sucks with a roof tent. Had to drag anything out from under it to use it and there wasn't much room on the sides to get to larger objects. Couldn't open the cooler without bringing it to the tailgate etc. if you're mounting a basket or something smallish the bed height wouldn't be a big deal.
