swapped my TSS 4WD tundra for a TRD OFF ROAD, installed the 1.75 readylift lift kit and Nitto tires 285/75R18 and magnaflow exhaust

 

Oh dang, so you can get the limited with the digital dash?

Good to know! How do you like the motor? Only thing I’m worried about is no under west storage.

 

Wouldn’t but a tundra without the hybrid! My 07, 14, 16 and 19 didn’t have underseat storage so doesn’t bother me… plus I have a car seat in my truck 99% of the time so I’m not accessing under there unless I’m working on wiring for my lights/ winch/ etc

 

I keep the car seat on the passenger side so I can still lift the drivers and middle seat section to get to the storage.

 

OldMotoMan, agreed, and thanks for the report. I'll stick with regular gas. Nice looking camper! Last week we did a long camping trip, 950 miles towing at 55-65 mph, got about 11-13 mpg. The easy power and smooth ride are great.

Such a bummer to hear the ride is rough on the CA freeways. I was really hoping it got better with this generation based on everyone's comments on the buttery smooth ride. My 21 is rough enough with the E rated tires.

 

Nice. I can't find one exactly how I want it and you're already on your second one! My local dealership is always getting in those TSSs. What didn't you like about it?

I liked the TSS only that I don't like gray cars on the inside that was what I didn't like, the trd off road has better cushioning and has black leather inside

FINALLY color matched.
Used Sparks Toyota to send me the new parts.
Took about 60 days from start-finish. This was also with the part's being on backorder.

Color came out perfect!

 

Clean...the way all SR5s should come in IMO. Leave the chrome for the higher trim models

I did it myself. Took about an hour to do the front and back, not complicated at all.

Finally got one.Not the one I ordered , but still love it.

 

Trying to find a Trd 4x4 sport premium package with premium audio package, pvm and bsm outer mirrors color matched, trd running boards in prefer red or gry but will take blue or black also. Down here in the great state of Texas east of Houston.
