Nice, good to know I can still use the stock wheels with bigger tires. I only did a 2” lift in the front so I think I’m going to go with 295/70r18 wheels.

Finally got my platinum and painted mustashe and grill emblem....did 285/70/17 ridge graplers on 18 x 9 (+18) method 316s....no lift yet.....have avs westcott on order but looks so good in person after adjusting my rear avs arms that i might not now

I actually agree with you and that's why I have a Platinum Crewmax LB on order since Nov. Getting wind chill with black interior.

 

ND. stay away from corwin in fargo they started at 10K markup and are now at 6k markup (confirmed from a co-worker about 2 weeks ago). really bad part, they wanted msrp on a 9000 mile used 2022 tundra

bismarck is doing msrp and decent trade in (use kbb as a ballpark)

minot (mine) is doing msrp and kbb trade-in and is a toyota dealer but since they dont exclusively sell toyota's, their allocation fulfillment is low compared to a normal toyota dealer. but they do best pricing (they just dont advertise it)

also they only sell within the dealers area of responsibility for new customers but still grandfather those from outside.

dont know much about grand forks

williston, devils lake, jamestown are outside the major cities in ND (pop. smaller than 50k) and are considered small town dealers

 

How’d you wrap that? At you able to remove that spoiler?

 

Did you remove the A pillar black wrap? Yours is the first 22 Tundra I've seen without a blacked out A pillar.

 

What method are you going to use for chrome delete?

 

Yes. I can’t stand the black wrap.

Ordered mid-January. I took her for a spin Saturday afternoon, and she is awesome. I'm thinking I won't miss the 5.7, but, still hard to say goodbye... Been a fantastic truck since November 2010!

Finance Mgr at dealership told me he is just over 500 miles on his and averaging 20 MPG...

Agreed... I wish the bonehead designers at Toyota would get it together... TRD Sport and Off-Road should get the same body color treatments... The chances of someone purposefully buying an "Off Road" vehicle and wanting CHROME all over it has to be slim to none...

 

They seem to know what most people prefer visually, because they make it in the TRD Pro. It really makes you wonder if it's all part of a broader strategy to "guide" customers to the higher profit upper trims. That's annoying not just from the cost perspective, but from the simple fact they don't make enough TRD Pros to sell to everyone who wants one anyway. It's an odd styling and trim differentiation choice all around.

In reality, they could have their cake and eat it too. Offer something similar to Ford: Chrome package and blackout/color match packages for each trim. They really would not have to make new parts, so it should not mess up the assembly efficiency too badly. Ohhh well.

 

This is the reason I chose the TRD Sport trim. Has the body matched panels I wanted without all the unnecessary equipment I eventually replace anyway.

 

SR5; 6.5 bed. Rides beautiful to the extreme. Tricky manuevering the longer frame.
