Ya I got them to reduce the mark up from $7,000 to $4,500 and finally $3,500 which is less than the other dealers who are at $5,000
I spoke with Adam at Buyers Toyota but the doesn't know when the next batch is coming. If I could wait I would but my mechanic friend offered me $28 for my 2017 as long as I stayed under 90,000 miles.

 

What dealer was it?

 

Brunswick... we had a good 30 min talk about it, and he kept asking if it was just the principle of the price or i was worried about my payment. I said that clearly its the principle of it... Said he would talk to his manager to see if there was any qiggle room, but haven't heard from him since...

 

Oh ok, The salesman I have worked with over the years is Dave Muschweck. I bought 2 Tundra's and a Sienna from him.

Assuming you are paying MSRP for both is it because of the wait for a Pro (assuming you didn’t have it as yet) or something else?

I saw my first TRD Pro in person today in solar octane. I’m quite surprised how much I liked it. It’s loud. And I thought, too loud. I love lunar rock. But man the SO looked good.

Saw a luner rock pro here in Austin yesterday and it was purdy lol 1st one in the wild I’ve seen.

Lol I know but if you want a truck at this point it’s a pay to play game. I have a buddy who ordered a new f250 for msrp while they had the same exact truck sitting on the lot for 20k mark up! It’s crazy!

 

speak for yourself. i am looking at getting a 5% off msrp before trade in on my platinum.

technically it ranges from 4-6% depending on model/pricing

edit: i do not work in any fashion for a dealer or toyota in case you are wondering.

How much would the price go up without your trade in? How much could you get for your truck from carvana? How much are they offering you for your trade in?

Maybe you're right, and you're the only person in America to pay under MSRP for a new Tundra. Or, alternatively, maybe your dealer is totally full of shit. Just a theory I'm working on.

SR5 TRD Off-road, getting lift kit and tires today.

 

That’s pretty. Looks exactly like mine. I just lifted mine today. What lift kit and wheels/tires are you going with?

Any plans to chrome delete? I’m still debating on wrap or plasti dip. I plan to plastidip the wheels for sure though. I don’t like the silver ring on the OR wheels. I’m looking at the hyper dip from dipyourcar.com either in black or the bronze/gold for the wheels.

 

I went with rough country 3.5 inch lift, the truck is still at the shop waiting for the 35 inch tires. The tires should be in tomorrow,I’m using the stock rims going to keep that silver edging. The rims remind me of a old 84 Nissan black truck I had during my younger days. Still debating about the chrome delete. Next on my list is running boards once rough country comes out with a solid runningboard . Also need a bed cover, and recovery hooks.
