Yep if u get the premium package with the softex I think I remember it being heated and cooled front seats.
Way back on day one dealer offered me allocation of a SR5 premium longbed crewmax at something like 58k at that point I pushed up to limited trim for 61k
If I remember the difference was the headlights rim size tailgate button and a few other things that I probably will never realize I need either way.

still think SR5 Sport is the way to go but could not get it allocated in longbed at the time.

Man they both were such a PITA to get. Been hunting for one since November and went out of state for the tundra and traveled 8hrs for the ktm to buy the last 2021 in commiefornia. I think the days of just having money and going to a local dealership when your ready to buy is over lol.

There's a post on the 2022 Tundra Owners Facebook group showing the wrap you are describing of the bar with the foglights. If that person is on this forum could you post the pic, don't want to post without permission. Looks good, also thinking about wrapping the lower bumper part to make the the grill enclosed on a Wescott video recently. I like both ways just a matter of preference.

My new TRD Sport finally arrived, perfect 50th B-Day present to myself, lol. It has the Advanced Technology, TRD Premium Sport, Premium Audio packages, as well as the BSM/PVM, and heated steering wheel options. Out the door cost roughly $63k.

I've put 500 miles on her so far and got to say she rides nice! Very quiet and smooth ride. I've been a long time Tacoma owner and the upgrade to the Tundra is massive, both technology-wise, and size of the truck. I know some guys have said the 3rd gen cabin looks smaller, but coming from the 2021 Tacoma my 2022 Tundra CrewMax cabin is cavernous!

The technology is pretty sweet. The lane departure and lane centering technology, along with the radar cruise control, make long road trips more about remembering to stop for bio breaks than focusing on keeping it between the lines! Already learned it doesn't work so well on snow covered roads. (Would be curious to know how Tesla and other autonomous driving technology is accounting for this problem.) I understand this technology came with the switch from hydraulic to electric steering. My Tacoma was hydraulic steering and it felt great. But my opinion is the electric steering rocks and the new tech is totally worth it (the switch).

    Happy to answer questions!

On the road this 2022 Tundra is a bit softer ride than the 2021 Tacoma. And I'm not sure if the Sport driving mode in the Tundra is the reason. I haven't had the Tundra off-road yet, so TBD there. But definitely felt the bumps off-road in the Tacoma, pretty stiff.

Just watched the 10 things he dislikes about the new Tundra video. They're all valid points, but for me they have minimal to no impact on my buying/driving/owning experience. That's how good this truck is.

Same places as everyone else, but we have high taxes. Especially the SIN taxes on gas, booze & smokes.

So in the SE US, all Platinum’s have black leather interior. Where are you that you get what appears to be the Boulder, or at least lighter colored, interior?

    Nice truck!

Update: watched your video again and I’m guessing it’s the sunlight making your leather look light, so I assume it is black after all. Sorry for the confusion on my part.
